Glad to see your crochet projects. You are doing excellent at it with your nice, straight edges! I always enjoy you two! Blessings to you this festive season of fun and loved ones.
Hi my knitting friends! So happy for you Leslie, gaining two sons, congratulations! The marley sweater calls for 3 strands of fingering held together. The pattern is lovely! That barnyard mini skein set is nice, also!
Michelle, I have several Laughing Stitches bags which I love. I wonder, too, if she still makes her bags. Couldn’t find her on Etsy or elsewhere. Love seeing both you and Leslie.
Michelle your blanket is beautiful! Well done. Y’all are one of my favorite podcasts. Leslie I love your half and half wrap. Congratulations on your daughters’ engagements.
I always love your episodes, you two!❣️ Not that you don't always look nice, but, truly, Michelle you just glowed today - loved the earrings and your hair; and Leslie, your hair was extra gorgeous today as well. It had just the right amount of 'bend'! I am always trying to achieve that but usually fail. Congrats on your daughters' engagements, Leslie! My three oldest girls were married in 2008, 2009, and 2010. The fourth daughter waited till 2015, and my son, who is the youngest, will probably not be walking down that aisle anytime soon, and, besides, I'm off the hook as MOG instead of MOB, right? Leslie, hope the work stress goes away soon. That's the one good thing about being "elderly": no work stress ever, cause I'm too old to work anymore, so all I do is sit around and knit, read, watch RU-vid podcasts, and talk on the phone with my kids. 😂🤣😂
I absolutely look forward to watching your podcast. It helps to know I am not the only person that doesn't get up because a dog is laying on my lap. I enjoyed the discussion about ceramics and embroidery. So many pretty community purchases. And the lama pillow is sooooo special. Happy holidays.
Working on my 3rd musselburgh hat. I am using all my leftover yarns and loving it. My goal is to use up all the bits of yarn scraps before any community service. Lol
Michelle, that's exactly what I do in order to wear earrings. Leslie, I get every kind of motion sickness and can't look down or back when driving, but now I take a half a dramamine and now I can knit in the car!!!! Game changer!
Anniversary was Thanksgiving this year. We had 3 of our sons and 2 of their women. It was a small thanksgiving this year as we are parents of 9 kids. Six boys and 3 girls, some homegrown and the rest adopted. Oh ya. It was 54 years!
Oh my Michelle your cushion gift from your friend is just awesome. She really is very talented. And the wooden bowls you have given to Lesley are stunning. Who knew wood and resin could look so good together. You both always make me feel better. Thank you so much. Congratulations on both your girls engagements!
Love Michelle’s organization totes. Sure beats what I am doing which is putting my wound minis in sandwich baggies with numbers on them. It is like an easter egg hunt finding the next color. 🙈🤣 You girls got me hooked on minis! Like I needed more yarn. 🤔. Now I need to cast on those cute gingerbread socks and make up my own kit. And I love your unapologetic attitudes! 👍
Great show. Congratulations to your daughters Leslie. Hope you all had a wonderful day together. What is the pattern for the jumper shown at the end please. 🇬🇧
I love watching your podcast💕 Michelle, your crocheted blanket turned out beautiful! Leslie, I absolutely love your shawl and knitted hat. I watch another podcast on Sunday's called Stitching the high notes. She knits and crochets and makes beautiful project bags for each season. She showed a sweater pattern today that she plans on knitting that I think Leslie would like (maybe) Looking forward to your next podcast 💕
The best part of my days off is when I can settle in, put my feet up, knit and watch you guys. Michelle kudos to you for knowing when a crochet row ends. Leslie congrats on the engagements. Exciting time in your household :)
Michelle, Chiaogoo has a combo set you should try for your socks. It has a set of 2 in tips and 3 in tips with a 5 in cable and 6 in cable. I knit continental, I put the 2 in tip for my left hand and 3 in tip for my right hand and use the 5 in cord. I bought the set on Amazon. Rachelle in Seattle
Wow! What an episode. Congrats to Leslie's family adding some boys! Michelle, my mom did ceramics back in the 1970s. She worked at a ceramics shop briefly and she loved it. She was such a crafter~she sewed, did crochet, macrame, quilting, painting, collecting things and making kind of what we would call "folk art" out of them. I wish she was here and I wish your mama was as well. Such a sweet memory you have of her. Leslie, maybe you should take a pottery class, you would probably love it (I think that was what you were referring to). You could either paint or there are some pottery places that offer the whole shebang from throwing to finishing. Question: How do you enter the giveaways? I know it has to do with your Instagram giveaway page, but maybe you could clarify it for the Peanut Gallery! Thanks! XXOO
Happy Sunday to me!!!! I’m such a slacker! I started my Musselburgh before you and not even done yet! Just checked out Charming Ewe! I need to stop!!!!!
Great show Ladies! Leslie - Congrats to both of your daughters! Michelle - my hubby and I don't do anything big for our anniversary. We give each other gifts when the person wants it because we don't know what tomorrow will bring. I would hate that my hubby didn't get what he wanted because we waited for a special occasion and something happened before that.
Great jam packed episode ladies. Michelle, I nearly fell over when you talked about your Mom and ceramics!!!! My mom taught ceramics at our home when I was growing up. We had tons of the molds that she poured clay into, and students would pick from the clay pieces. Leslie, please make the time to try your hand at it.💖
I have the same problem with my yarn swift…sometimes I have no problems at all but then there are those time I really wonder if it’s just me?! lol I LOVE your crochet blanket❣️ just gorgeous!
Congrats on your daughters’ engagements! My sister and I got engaged in the same year- it was a crazy time. 🤪. You guys always crack me up. I love to see what you’re working on. Your half and half wrap looks fantastic!
It’s always good to see you two! I only knit socks with Addi 10” easy knit rocket needles. The rockets longer needle is pointy and the shorter one is a regular turbo. This do not bother my hands. The advents look so fun! I wish I could have gotten one but you have to be quick. Next year!
Our Anniversary is December 6th the day before D-Day 😂 It will be 52yrs this year. We didn't celebrate our 50th, just enjoyed the peace and quiet with our dog Hamish. 💕🐶🇺🇸💙
Once again you two crack me up from the very beginning Leslie being blond/blind. Michelle's story of wanting to get Dwight fixed made me think of our two male rabbits that are brunkle and brephew to each other. Congratulations to both of your girls getting engaged Leslie.
There's a really easy tip I saw recently on how to avoid the stitch line if it does bug you ❣️It was done on a pair of socks . I'm 90 percent sure it was a garter stitch being shown also- you just purl the new color row and it was surprisingly unnoticeable unless you physically pulled the. Rows to look for it . Definitely, no more stitch line though . Your half & half is just gorgeous !! I found if I use a dk , 190 st gets a large shawl - lol but like most of us I've got a lot of fingering ! How about a mohair strand ..😊
Thank you for a great podcast. First time with socks after the holidays, will try the Addi 10-inch. I've tried other podcasts you have suggested, but they seem to pale in comparison. :)
Michelle, you look great in the earrings I saw you post on Instagram, and that Lil goat is super cute. Leslie, you seemed so sad today. I hope everything is ok with you. I LIVE your podcasts. I'm still catching up, but have decided to see the new ones as they come out. You guys keep me smiling. Thank you both.
@@thelettenmaiers832 Hope it gets better for you soon. Because I Love your Smile & your Laugh. Take Care. And again, Congratulations on both your daughters engagement 🙂
Leslie. I tried to make that hat but don’t get the instructions for the yarn overs. Everyone I’ve seen who’s made it didn’t do the YOs. That’s what I had trouble for. You didn’t either can you maybe explain how you did that ? I really want to make it but don’t make a lotta hats. But need to make a few. I love that hat. I’d appreciate you assistance a sentence or two would very likely do. I’d be very grateful. 😊
Michelle, you’ve got to leave the dollar bills at home when she’s shaking that yarn in your face. 😂 Congratulations on both your daughters’ engagements, Leslie. Happy thanksgiving and Merry Christmas to you both.
I just wanted to let you know about Little Checks Socks pattern by Summer Lee Design Co. Amy from Noble Character Crafts podcast is making hers like buffalo plaid they are so cute!
❤️❤️❤️🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️🧶🧶🧶 Beautiful projects!!!!! I’m loving how your crochet cardi is coming out! Hannah is such a wonderful person! You should watch her podcast!
Hello Ladies, seasonal greetings from England. I’ve been long time viewer and always enjoy you both. Has someone taken a course to upgrade your cast? It’s so professional looking! Love it. Thanks for all the extra time needed to do it
What a fun episode. Congratulations on the engagements and happy anniversary 💕 congratulations on the baby goat 💙 I have Ducks.. my boy is called Earl the a$$hole bc he doesn’t respect his mom if you know what I mean 😪🤢 so many stories there but I digress. I just love y’all -hugs from down south.
