Good work out. Found it was so important to push hard on the foot plate. Was able to hold the pace steady better at the last two. I did notice that I got sloppy on leaning forward at the end when I was tired.

This was an awesome day today! Did the HIIT 26 three times today, increasing watts each time (focus on form) and am completely wiped now, love it. Thank you!

first timer rower .... ejoying your training and banter. Shame the likes are diminishing each session, probably because they are knackered more each time. Lookiing forward to the next 11 to finish.

I have a hard time changing my speed per/500m at a certain stroke rate. If I slow down my strokes per minute, my 500m slows, but if I keep at 26 I can't slow down. Does that make sense? I feel like my legs just have one gear, but maybe it is just because I have always practiced by myself and with lower stroke rates. Thanks for posting this series, Austin. 20 minutes in the home is what us single moms need to keep moving forward.

Initially started my 1 minutes bettering 2:15 then midway better than 2:10 and by the end a few strokes at 1:59 but never above 2:05. So I suppose I should have had a quicker target at the start.

So happy with this one! Managed an average of 2.05.6. (2.09.4 for the last HIIT workout at 24 SPM).

It does not matter! The HARDER you row, the more resistance you will feel.

3-5 generally recommended for beginners from what I've seen. There's no 'right' answer so play around with it and get a feel for it. That's assuming a clean-ish machine, I've learned. Drag factor ~130 - 140 can require a different setting if the air flow is impeded by dust. No idea about water machines.
