Bread has a percentage of alcohol does that mean its haram
@buzzinginyourears6770
@buzzinginyourears6770 5 месяцев назад
Bread doesn't contain liquor, the alcohol discussed here is khamr. But if you use regular vanilla extract (not the alcohol free), of course your bread will be haram.

Are sunnah fajr prayers prayed before the adhan is called? Or after? If after how many minutes after? And should you pray the fard fajr prayers right after it?

After, can be prayed as soon as adthaan is called, if praying at home call the iqamah yourself and then pray the card fajr, if in mosque wait till muezzin reads iqamah and pray in congregation

A question if anyone sees this. If we make an example for any reason. Alcohol that is not including intoxicant doesn't make one addicted nor makes on drunk or hurts it's health. But still considered alcohol (this is not something i know of existing for just for the sake of knowing) Is that ''alcohol'' still haram? My intention is. IS IT alcohol ITSELF that is haram or is it because it contains intoxicant. When hadith talks about wine the one who presses it, sells it, buys it, drinks it. IS IT THE WINE ITSELF or is it the intoxicant alcohol inside of that wine that is what makes it haram? So we might not have non intoxicant alcohol. But for the safety of knowledge. But we generalize alcohol as haram which I believe is correct since most of what we know it is toxic. Tho some alcohol can be found in bananas (ripe) if not other fruits and more that may have these.
@AymuM
@AymuM 2 года назад
It's not alcohol itself that is Haraam, it's the Intoxicants. Since most alcohols intoxicate (going according to rule of "If it is intoxicating in large quantities it is haraam in small quantities") we say that it's haraam. But ofc some alcohols don't intoxicate, like methanol. They straight up kill you... So it isn't an Intoxicant and not subject to this rule. It's still haram cuz it'll kill you, but it isn't an Intoxicant.

I don't understand, how does this go with: “Every intoxicant is unlawful and whatever causes intoxication in large amounts, a small amount of it is (also) unlawful.” - Sunan Ibn MajahVol. 4, Book 30, Hadith 3392
@123Andersonev
@123Andersonev 6 месяцев назад
it's bullshit, nobody has ever been intoxicated by cooking off alcohol in a sauce, we do it for flavour and to add acidity to a sauce to create balance, some right wing imams just want to remove the joy out of everything and stop the ummah breaking bread with non muslims.
@ybcaramel
@ybcaramel 5 месяцев назад
The standard is whatever causes intoxication in large amounts is forbidden. So ask yourself, what I’m consuming will it intoxicate me in large amounts? Then you have your answer. Here’s a Hadith for reference “Give good tidings to the (people). and make things easy (for them), teach (them), and do not repel (them) ; and I think he also said: Cooperate cheerfully with each other. When he (the Holy Prophet) turned his back, Abu Musa returned to him and said: Allah's Messenger, they (the people of Yemen) have a drink which is (made) from honey and which is prepared by cooking it until it coagulates, and Mizr is prepared from barley, whereupon Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: Every intoxicant that detains you from prayer is forbidden.” Sahih Muslim 1733f And Allah knows best

Cooking wine such as rice wine, vinegar which is not intoxicated, is it halal?
@3mar00ss6
@3mar00ss6 Год назад
no, it is intoxicating when consumed in large quantities vinegar has alcohol but u'd die from drinking it before it intoxicats you, rice wine is wine, rice wine vinegar is vinegar, those 2 things are not the same... and before u say rice wine vinegar is haram because it comes from wine, all* vinegar comes from wine it's just alcohol that is allowed to oxidize *(some artificial vinegar is made in a lab and is completely alcohol free, but that vinegar is not good in cooking it's better for cleaning)

I just wish that the muslim learned more about cooking and doesn't just berate their wives for it smh. Using wine, vinegar, etc. especially in restaurant they used industrial stove, especially in chinese rest. It means that the fire is usually much more stronger than the usual home stove. Moving on there, wine are usually are used for deglazing and simmer without closing the pan (simmer also have much more longer period to cook) and if you know basic science, alcohol can easily evaporate. So no.. there will be no trace of alcohol in the cooking, it just add more sweetness, acidity, or umami in the food, that's why it's okay for kids to eat that food. Why do i know this? i'm a cook

I’m sure you did but it didn’t suit your preferences 😬 Jabir (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “If a large quantity of any beverage intoxicates, then a small amount of it is prohibited."
