Yoga For Runner's - or joggers, or brisk walkers. This practice offers great release and rehab after a good run or cardio. Also, a wonderful practice to repeat to up or maintain your running or cardio game.
This sequence stays low to the ground. Use the breath to stretch and soothe the muscles of the body, stabilize the joints, and Find What Feels Good. This 30 min practice uses the principles of yoga to cultivate balance and find ease. Thirty minutes of practice to allow, release, balance, and restore!

Florida; hour north of Tampa. Adriene; thank you so much for all the videos you have made. I've just begun using them (I've done yoga in detoxes etc. over the years but never "got into it") and it's helping me get out of a very bad time. I truly appreciate it.

The first time I ever did this video, it froze at 29:24, but because my eyes were closed, I didn’t know. After a few minutes I peeked at the video, but Adrienne was still lying there, so I kept lying there too. This continued for at least 10 minutes until I figured it was pretty strange that she hadn’t said anything for so long, so I sleepily got up and finally saw what happened. It was evening too, so my husband NEARLY came home to find his wife fast asleep in the middle of floor on a yoga mat. Now it makes me smile every time we get to that part. Thanks for the great video!

Thankyou Adriene. 3 summers ago I thought I would have to give up my beloved walking in the mountains....my knees hurt, my hip ached and my feet tingled with pins and needles. Then my sister introduced me to you channel. I have been with you practically daily since then. Today I returned from an 8 hour hike through beautiful mountain scenery with barely a twinge. Bless you Adriene. Thanks Sarah.

Adriene I've always told myself I'm not a runner. But recently, I started to do the couch to 5k program, and I have to tell you - doing this yoga post-run, you just made me realize that they are both about the breath! I really feel I understand running now more, and I'm so excited to make both my at home yoga and running part of my life (especially during this strange time of social distancing at self-isolation due to the virus). Thank you as always

As a runner, THANK YOU for this video! I set a new PB time for my 5k yesterday (connecting breath to body truly does work), but running tends to tighten my hips and these hip openers were fantastic. It's like a beautiful cycle - running helps my yoga and yoga helps my running. You're amazing, Adriene!

It pains me that there are people out there who make you feel like you need to address the fact that you ARE but one human, and that you ARE doing the work, even if people don't see it. I just want to let you know that I do see it. I see you. And appreciate you more than I can put into words. Oh this is amazing. I fell asleep on my mat. This was so perfect, my legs love you so much! I am far too new to running to say if this helps my form, but I can tell you I have quit running before because of pain. This time I do yoga after every run and do yoga on recovery days and I have had no issues with overly sore muscles. This is amazing, thank you!

Trank you, trank you, thank you for all your wonderful videos, which I am using on a daily basis and they absolutely improved my entire life!!!!!! Take good care of yourself sweet Adriene, your today‘s loveletter made me worry about you. So much work, so many requests. Its sometimes hard to stay balanced when things grow so quick. But we have the world‘s most wonderful mantra to help us to get our feet back on the ground: FIND WHAT FEELS GOOD🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏿🙏🏾🙏

You are an artist! I've just done my first 10k and I needed a stretch routine specifically for running, this was beautiful!

Hey Adriene, could you do a sequence for when the IT band is giving you troubles? I've watched some videos about it from other channels but it's your vision and approach to Yoga the one which make me stick with your channel :)

When we see you in your casual gear Adriene we know we’re in for some slow and gentle and it was, no vinyasas just awesome stretches. Even so I still felt the heat and again found slow can be really powerful. I am not a runner but I shall remind all the many runners in my family 🏃‍♀️🏃🏽‍♂️🏃‍♀️🏃🏽‍♂️🏃‍♀️🏃🏽‍♂️ how good this practice is. See you tomorrow on the mat for Day 15 of Courage, we’re half way through already ! 🧘🏼‍♀️🧘🏻‍♀️🙏💞

Nice, i used it as a sort of warm up for a run with a doggy - but after completing it i felt too relaxed to go running so am now getting in touch with the yoga community then a bike ride with my partner in crime in 30 mins. Hope you have a great sunday :)

I am feeling SO zen after that!!! Normally I prefer a more active flow practice, but this yin-style sequence was exactly what I needed after a hilly 18K run today -- mind and body! Thank you :) Also that moment when you just shouted "Zumba" - was definitely giggling rather than ujjayi-ing!

Practicing from Chippewa Bay, NY with a beautiful water view. This was my favorite stretching practice, getting to all my tight areas. I'm not a runner, but it felt so good to take it slow and stretch.💚

Been running long distances for some years now- like a junkie, haaha.. but with the price of some health issues which led to being emotionally unsatisfied with myself as I couldn't reach the goal I thought I should've been able to by that time. A few weeks ago I randomly tried out a video for complete beginners, then started "30 days of yoga". I need to say that I am SO! thankful for what you do here on RU-vid. That literally saved me, I feel so much better and happier and healthier- in everyday life and!!! while running! Thank you for sharing your sunny energy that actually jumps out of the screen :D

While doing this video, for the first time I had this experience where I acknowledged my body as an entity worthy of respect. Like, I actually apologized to my body for feeding her poorly over the last couple years. I've never felt that separateness before, but it felt healthy. Thank you for the longer stretches to settle in. I think that's what left space for the awareness.
