Mask squeeze doesn't happen often in Freediving, but still better to know what it is and how to avoid it when you are Freediving

Thanks man! Keep 'm coming! Edit: the Mares Viper has a surprisingly large internal volume. I tested it on my channel.

@@KAIZENFREEDIVING Yes, it fits, doesn't leak. Although I like the grip for equalization better with the Mares X-Free.

Very helpful thank you. Actually it happened to me while scuba diving two days ago and I end up with little red on my eye. I will follow your instructions next time. I have another question please. Is it a factor to have my mask so tight? Or do I need to have little space

Hi! You don't need to keep the mask too tight. Remember when you are underwater, water will press the mask to your face :)

Just a little other topic question kub.. I'll always got a dizziness after every freedive trip. It's because i'm not do the recovery ennough?, i mean dizzinness last for 4 days after got back from the trip

Thanks. I got my only mask squeeze so far when I forgot my mask and borrowed one from a friend. The mask looked the same but the volume inside was very different. Usually I never thought about it at 30-40m, but I got the squeeze at 15-20m already. Took me some time to figure out what was going on.

Same with me!! Forgot my dive bag, had to use my boyfriends extra mask... Popped a blood vessel in my eye. I'm trying to figure out tho, do I need to wait for the redness to dissappear to dive again? My normal mask (mares viper) never gave me that problem

Yes, it's better to wait when the eye's color goes back to normal.
