Saiyans VS Viltrumites 

Made this because many of you were wondering how strong a hybrid would be. So, how powerful do you guys think they would be? Please let me know and I really hope you guys enjoyed the video!

The average Viltrumite would beat the average Saiyan, but most exceptional and above average Viltrumites would be stomped by above-average Saiyans

One thing you overlooed is how Saiyans don't start showing signs of aging until near the end of their lifespans, which combined with the Viltrumite lifespan, means that the Saiyamite would be able to live thousands of years without aging and keep training the whole time.

Basically in 'gaming terms' Viltrumites at level 1 have some pretty potent stats, meanwhile Saiyan's at level 1 are just a little above average. But around level 100 things change. Viltrumites can't get any stronger now, but a Saiyan in theory has no level cap. So they can if they so desired get up to level 1000 or even beyond.

Here's something else to consider about hybrids. Viltrumite DNA eventually overrides the host species's DNA. However, even if this would effect Saiyan DNA, the hybrid probably wouldn't be shit outta luck. The MMO, dragon Ball online, takes place in a parallel age 1000, at least 200+ years after the main series. A certain percentage of earthlings at this time are descendants of Goku and Vegeta. Because it's been so long, these hybrid descendants have less than 1% Saiyan blood. Even so, they're still able to transform into Super saiyans. And given what we know about the Super Saiyan form now, what with s cells and everything, that actually kind of makes sense. S cells are hereditary and the more you have, the more your offspring inherit. It's one of the few and only species traits that sticks around.

Imagine a half Saiyan, half Viltrumite though -long lifespan -ridiculous durability -built-in healing -get stronger every time they almost die -get stronger with age -transformations -impervious to most disease -can hold their breath in space for long periods of time -great stamina

Viltrumite saiyan hybrid sounds absolutely horrifying the only downside I see is that the individual would inherit the ear weakness of the Viltrumite

About the Ultra Ego thing.I actually think it benefits saiyans way more. Because saiyans have a biological lust for battle, I would imagine saiyans would have more benefit. Since Vegeta states "the more my battle soul burns, the stronger I grow" which im mostly sure is referring to the saiyans natural instincts; which is how Vegeta used Ultra Ego

I don’t think think Viltrimite dna would completely overpower Saiyan DNA. That hybrid would be insane. They would essentially create a god.

I believe a Viltrumite's DNA, doesn't necessarily override others DNA but counteracts the negative eventually showing dominance. Saiyan DNA is active from day one and I don't believe it would be seen as a negative to Viltrumite DNA, so in my head a Saiyan-Viltrumite Hybrid would be disgustingly overpowered.

I have the Invincible guide and I really like how in depth it goes on Viltrumite biology. It explains in great detail how their "Smart Atoms" work. I sort of wish Dragon Ball also had a more hard science fiction guide that covered Saiyan biology the same way.

The one shortcoming of the average Viltrumite is that all of their power is housed inside of their bodies; they don't actually have any kind of energy projection. Just teaching one to use DB martial arts would make them ludicrously powerful

A sayian and viltrumite hybrid sound extraordinary when you think about it. Both have the ability to get exponentially stronger withe each near death or just very difficult battles. Add the technically superior base physiology of viltrumites and adept ki manipulation, and you have one of the strongest beings in the universe!

I have a feeling Kirkman draws a lot of inspiration from manga and anime. His other series tech jacket was basically his version of the guyver.

Hot-take: Viltrimites have a much higher power-floor than saiyans have but a much lower power-ceiling.

To be fair on the whole Saiyan inteligence thing, while they did jack most of their tech from the Tiffles they were competent enough to maintain and improve upon it, even inventing powerballs that acted as replacements for moons, meaning they technically were the real inventors of blutz wave tech not Bulma. So while not as advanced as Viltormite tech they weren't pushovers in that epartment either

Interestingly in DBZ, there is a race with even more impressive endurance than viltrumites, that being Frieza's race, those guys are nearly unkilleble without evaporating their whole bodies. Frieza could still fight loosing half of his body and arm, after which he survived in space for many weeks lacking most of his torso, legs, arm and half a head, and kept living despite it. Even non canon Cooler was nearly unkilleble, after being blasted to the sun, he survived many months in space being only half of his head, before finding "Spaghetti Star". Overall Frieza's race is just absurd in nearly every way possible, they themselves are already like Saiyans-Viltrumite hybrids

What about the potential of Viltrumites to learn ki techniques? Instead of fighting would gohan for instance be able to teach Mark ki techniques? Because we know a Gohan and Mark meet up would be peaceful. That would be interesting to see

So basically, viltrumites have far higher base stats,durability and lifespans, but saiyans just have _insanely_ better stat growth across the board. Combine the two and you get a being that can live for ages, and has insane base stats that woud only grow as they fought. Though the drawbacks would likely be the battle lust and the high intelligence would probably lead to a monstrously genocidal tyrant beyond even the likes of freiza and buy if the resulting kid isn't raised properly. So the question imo wouldnt be "how strong would this kid grow to be?" but "how would you we keep the kid on the straight and narrow?" if not "what could even check such a being if they were to exist?"

A hybrid would probably have to use a wish on the dragon balls to stabilize their genome so that the viltrumiite genes don't completely take over.

This was not only a cool what-if video, but the continuity of both races being surprisingly similar is pretty invincible.

Viltrumites can survive for extended amounts of time without oxygen as in days or weeks but saiyans are highly susceptible to ‘suffocating’. So if a viltrumite and a saiyan were fighting the viltrumite could just smash the planet and leave the saiyan to suffocate and then find a new planet with air. Idk just a thought.

The reason why Goten and Trunks we're able to become super sayian so easily, according to the author is that Super Sayian is a genetic mutation. And once both Goku and vegetal became it, they passed it on to their kids.

In the case of a Saiyan and a Viltrumite hybrid, I think that both genes will mingle perfectly without one taking over or overwriting the other at all. Each gene greatly benefits the other and fill in the gaps of each race. What's more is that the being would be so powerful that the only care is the animal side of the Saiyan blood, the Monkey King (Oozaru) form, mainly because this is not a technique but part of the Saiyan Biology itself. What is a technique that is a step up of the Super speed of a Saiyan and that indeed even surpasses the hyper speed of a Viltrumite is the Instant Teleportation that Goku and Vegeta learn from the planet Yardrat. Also, another key element missed from the Saiyans DNA is the power boost the Saiyans get after being close to death. This means that the might of a Viltrumite/Saiyan Hybrid would still increase in power with this genetic ability.

Imagine Broly battling every viltrumite, no vultrimite wouldn't even RIVAL his power because he can passively get stronger as the fight progresses or how long the battle will be.

The problem with viltrumites against saiyans is a saiyan elite can effortlessly blow up planets with a single blast and even weaker saiyans like Nappa can raise their fingers and turn an entire city into a glass floor in an instant. Heck humans in Dragonball like Roshi can blow up moons in seconds and hes fodder compared to most saiyans. Ik viltrumites are much more durable than saiyans with a ridiculous healing factor that relies on their heart. But i don’t think most viltrumites can effortlessly survive planet destroying attacks to the face and like viltumites it only takes a hand full of low level soldiers to end civilizations like its no big deal. So I’m going saiyans for who would win in a war if its purely against those 2 races.

The Viltrumites would have been a cool rival species to the Saiyans if they ever existed in DB. My opinion of course.

Saiyans stomp hard not alone are they casual planet busters on the average but Saiyans have a variety of techniques, destructive capability with energy based attacks, and they can turn into Oozaru to increase strength. Viltrumites only got the advantage in durability since they have near Invulnerability.

Your average Viltrumite is superior to the average Saiyan, Vegeta at the beginning of the Saiyan Saga was considered to be one of the most powerful amongst their race at the time, even Nappa (who was getting up there in years) was considered well above a low class Saiyan like Raditz. However if we're going to take into consideration specific individuals of each race, Goku, Vegeta and Broly are so much more absurdly powerful than the rest of their kind that's it's not even fair to compare them. Even the most powerful Viltrumites like Thragg and Mark would pale in comparison to those three.

The Ozaru being an *Exact* 10x multiplier has always rubbed me the wrong way. A small child turning into one of these things should be at least 1000x

While “non-canon” it should also be mentioned that its implied that Bardock and King Vegeta could control their great ape forms. If a Saiyan can control this state and then go Super Saiyan they will then transform into a Golden Oozaru and then a Super Saiyan 4. While not as powerful as the god forms this form can rival SSGSS if the Saiyan trains enough. {but that’s moreso having a higher base form than a higher power boost.}

6:35 one theory about the transformations is that they are exclusive to Saiyans, since saiyans are incredibly good at adapting, when they tap into a new power their bodies adapt to the most suited form for the use of that power, hence all the different transormations.

I read the entirety of invincible and the top tier viltrumites, (invincible and thragg) they were able to throw hands in the sun but they were dying quickly. Saiyans can destroy the sun and galaxies.

Canon or not, I massively enjoy you showing filler clips like the Other world Tournament. A lot of people ignore that kind of stuff even though DB Filler adds quite a bit to the world

Question: Is Will Smith's Hancock really a Viltrumite? They can easily fit the Hancock story into the Invincible Universe. As of now, I think that's the closest to a live-action Invincible we're gonna get.

I think my second favorite character in the series, Allen, definitely deserves his own video. He's one of a kind, the sole survivor of a genetic experiment by his race to create warriors capable of fighting the Viltrumites. He actually gets hefty zenkai boosts, and became strong enough to beat the shit out of top-tier Viltrumites like Nolan.

Overall, Saiyans would be far better than Viltrumites, due to being physical comparable, alongside having energy attacks which can destroy cities, continents, and planets, with some higher tier characters even having attacks that effect the entire universe. Although another thing is if it's Saiyans from the beginning of the series, or later on, because the power creep in Dragon Ball is far beyond that of what goes on in Invincible. I can see Viltrumites fairly going up against Saiyans from the beginning of the series, but I can imagine that main characters like Goku, and Vegeta soloing the entire Viltrumite race if they didn't hold back. A hybrid between the Saiyans, and Viltrumites would just be scary. Increased stamina, survivability, and so on. All sorts of downsides are erased when you merge the two. Such a scary concept is better left as fan fiction, or else their universes would have a character which could only be stopped with bad writing.

I thought everyone knew. One of the stronger universes that didn't have to fight in the tournament of power was the one with Viltrumites. I made it up. But, I like the thought of it.

I still believe Cell has the best potential. He can surpass Goku through training if he tried and from then on all he has to do is absorb new races for their abilities. Preferably absorb Majin Buu before moving on to a Viltrumite if that's even possible.

Saiyans are also able to withstand extreme temperatures if you remember that was apart of their training in the Room of Spirit and Time.

I would argue that although it’s not directly stated, the Saiyan’s genetics in a hybrid also tend to be dominant given the hybrids abilities to still go super saiyan, great ape, and age slower than a human’s. Even Pan who is only 1/4 Saiyan has some attributes of the Saiyans even if she hasn’t ever shown the capability of reaching super saiyan. I would suspect we may still see that at some point in the future though. Basically, I’m saying a saiyan/vultrumite hybrid would likely cancel each other’s dominant genes out, allowing them to maintain the benefits of both species throughout their life.

saiyans have more potential but viltrumites have more base strength, a typical viltrumite would beat up a typical saiyan, but the strongest viltrumite vs the strongest saiyan would just be the saiyan massacring the viltrumite

One thing, as some people state Fly speed is not equal to fight Speed, being an special ability of warping space in deep space like a Gravitatory engine, if not Allen stated on a point that him(in a point he was equal to Omniman) is nearly Lightspeed(Slower in reaction and combat speed than Raditz

Mark is special for many reasons he is a hybrid of the son of the emperor. He also got a boost from eve, the avg viltramite will not reach marks lvl cuz he is essentially stronger than omniman he just holds bacc alot mentally. Notice when mark is mad he easily beats multiple people. A fusion would be crazy but the avg saiyan would lose to the avg viltramite especially if its a death match type of battle

One thing to note is that Saiyans shouldn't be compared without their ki taken into account. Saiyans have biological transformations that can only be accessed with ki. Proving it's far more closely tied to their very being.

Something you forgot about when talking about the goku’s durability and not surviving getting burned to a crisp, as seen in the 2018 broly movie goku fought broly in the earths core which is very hot magma and he got in and out like it’s no big deal

So yes viltrumites have high survivability and durability since they are near invincible, but Saiyan's can grow stronger over time during a fight while for a Viltrumite to get strong they'd have to age up

Also, in the case of some Sayins, there is the chance a mutation can occur. This makes them usually more timid in terms of personality, but great fighters, with the latest (Broly) being capable of keeping up with base form and super Sayin Vegeta. And they also have a special super sayin transformation possessing tremendous power and a green aura called Legendary Super Sayin which was able to force Gogeta (Fusion of Goku and Vegeta) to go into Perfected Blue just to keep the edge.

It'd be cool if the Saiyan DNA is so resilient and has such superior qualities in ki control etc that the hybrid gets the best genes between Viltrumites and Saiyans. All of the traits of the Viltrumites, including lifespan, combined with the ki control and massive potential for power of a Saiyan. The only human/Saiyan hybrids we've seen were descendants of Goku and Vegeta. I wonder if it'd make a difference if the offspring were a random Saiyan, or if Goku really does represent a lower level Saiyan, and that any Saiyan can climb to the highest levels of power if they train and fight like the surviving Saiyans.

A viltrimites Saiyan hybrid would be strong in every possible way besides maybe hacks. Getting stronger as you get older and getting stronger by getting beating up. It's almost to amazing. Ssj viltrimites would be broken in general ozaru viltrimites are stupidly broken aswell. As a huge target now with ki everything just becomes godlike I'd argue that a Saiyan viltrimite that trains and breaks their body down would easily get up to ssj3 easily by atleast atleast late teen years.

Man imagine how powerful a Viltrumite/Saiyan hybrid would be like what if Omniman got stuck in the Dragon Ball Universe just like he did in the Mortal Kombat game. Depending on which saga Nolan arrives at I'm pretty sure he would be smart enough to notice the power gap between him and the saiyans and realize he would have to "learn their ways". What I mean is that he would have to learn how to control his ki. This applies to him as in the DBZ universe every living being possesses ki. He would act as a hero to gain goku's trust, learn about ki control and ask him to teach him how to utilize it in exchange for daily battles(considering viltrumite stamina is much higher than a saiyan and goku loves to fight) Now consedering Viltrumite biology is extremely adaptive he wouldn't have much of a hard time learning how to control it and his potential could be quite impressive. I think he could get to Frieza's level but I might be wrong. Also once he realizes how powerful saiyans are compared to him he would devise a plan to create Viltrumite/Sayans hybrids once he finds a female saiyan(like Gohan's daughter... once she's an adult ofc) thus creating one of the most powerful species in that universe. The Viltraiyans Considering Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Goten and Trunks won't live much longer than humans all he has to do is play hero until they die while spawning more Viltraiyans. Eventually there will be hundreds of millions of them and Nolan learning with Gohan that Saiyans/Human hybrids have much more potential than pure saiyans he would make the Viltraiyans mate with humans. With both Viltrumite and Saiyan dna being dominant their human dna would make up of less than 1% of their total dna. Making the new hybrids 99% Viltraiyans with MUCH more potential. Nolan will teach them the ways of Ki that he learned with Goku and the gang. They will use the time chamber to get stronger much faster and with their lifespans they would train and train for centuries. Once they populate the whole Earth they will expand their new empire through the galaxy. All hail The Viltraiyan Empire.

The funny thing is, this half Viltrumite half Saiyan would not be the hero of the story. They would be the most blood thirsty, war hungry and unsympathetic character in whichever universe they're in. This character is the villain for the heroes to overcome, somehow....

Not sure who would be stronger in base form. But I think the Saiyans have the edge in combat versatility thanks to ki manipulation. We might usually only see large energy beams and explosions but there’s the Destructo Disk, the Solar Flare, the Spirit Ball (gotta give credit to Yamcha), etc. Technically, a Saiyan could find all sorts of ways to use ki to fight.
