Never cared who copies who. But what I find funny is Samsung releases ads mocking or making fun of an Apple design or feature, that they themselves later copy and have to remove those ads lmao....

Executives being aware of what goes on at the company is a rare thing these days 😂

I think you don’t realize how big Samsung is. They make military equipment including tanks. Samsung consumer electronics CEO definitely knew but I could see done if the heads of Samsung not caring about one of their most profitable divisions and then seeing the news and being surprised.

I mean the Buds and the watch are probably pretty low on samsungs priority list of Products, they probably don‘t even bring in that much revenue… but I still agree that if this is something that SHOULD not have happened, then it should have been caught earlier. I understand why People at samsung would be upset about them copying Apple, it devalues their Brand, but HOW was it able to release….

When Tim Cook talks about his style of leadership, he always talks about the importance of collaboration and teamwork between the different teams - when the executive, design, software, and hardware teams collaborate with one another and spend time together, they create better experiences and products for the consumer. Everyone in the tech world knows about Apple Events. Tim Cook is at the front of the entire presentation like Steve Jobs was. Not only did these executives know about the products they unveiled to the public, they were proud of them because they put their heart and soul into the development of new iPhones, iPads, Macs or Apple Watches like their teams did. Everyone worked on these products from the bottom up. It is evident that Samsung, as a company, does not promote or practice collaboration and teamwork. If they did, this would not have happened and Samsung could create even better products in the process.

This issue really affects every brand, everyones wants to be iPhone like cuz improves the branding, phones are just blending in so much nowadays I was an android user cuz I love the removable batteries, the SD cards slot and the freedom you had Nowadays with subscriptions models and everything being integrated there is no really a big benefit, if everyone's copying apple just buy an iPhone

The buds were a good example of taking the best features. In the case of the apple watch, I think the circled rectangle shape looks so ugly, most people that like android smart watches like the fact that they look stealthy, like another accessory but with more function. But the circle on top of the rectangle looks jarring

Let me tell you this, guys. I am an Apple fanboy. I have both the Z Fold 6 and the iPhone. To be honest, Samsung and Android are more fun and enjoyable to use. I love Apple, but I'm telling you the truth.

I work for a running shoe company and it’s wild how far removed execs are from the day to day decisions that get harder and costlier to change as time goes on 😂 So yeah I can see how this happens.

This is tit 4 tat between these 2 companies. Samsung had the 1st smart watch that had a square face wayyyyyy before Apple. Then they went to a round watch face. You can only do so much with a watch design. Yes, the Samsung Bud Pro 3 looks like the Apple Air pod pros. So does every other brand that has over the ear headphones and earbuds. Everyone takes some designs from each other. When Apple finally comes out with a foldable phone, everyone will think Apple came out with it 1st.

For me the most offensive is the headphone, it's literally the Apple headphone. I've always liked Samsung, because they were always different, while everyone rushed to copy Apple with the notch they made the camera hole, which later Apple itself was inspired by to make the dinamic island. For my Samsung just embraced the copy.

I think copying is okay to some extent, but mocking a company for what they do then make a product almost exactly like them is really shameful. Also this means, the teams are not aware of each other, there is no connection between them and this makes the company cheap.

When it comes to the watch, they actually copied themselves, cause Samsung made a watch design like this before. When it comes to the orange band, i can see why Samsung copied it, cause its a workout watch & its easier to be seen by others, so its not an accident. When it comes to the earbuds, i also understand why they copied the airpods. Android users do want airpods, but they lose some features because they use a android. Samsung is the only one, that actually give you choices when it comes to earbuds.

Samsung didn't copy apple with the Watch Ultra design. We've had a watch with this design before. The Gear S Sport, you can google it. Just let this matter rest. Also, who said Apple owns the stem design tho c'mon jeez.

The Watch Ultra I can kind of get but design has been used before but as for the Buds 3 and Buds Pro 3 yes it is almost copying Apple, and I think it's genuine that the top boss was p***ed at the mobile division about all of this

Samsung clearly has a clear, iconic and distinct design for their smart watches and ear buds. I prefer Samsung's design over Apple's due to its simplicity and they have to copy all of the worst aspects, making it bulky and over designed. The transparent cap of the buds case reminds me of Nothing's design which doesn't suit Samsung aesthetics.

They also need to be aware of not contradicting themselves like complete fools. They mocked apple for removing the headphone jack and charger, but turn around to do the same themselves. They mock apple for the notch, but their tablets have notches. I don't like using the word isheep, but they are the biggest isheeps without even realising it, and the gall to mock apple for their own decisions, only to do the same thing thesmselves, makes them look silly. I like their products, but they got to stop doing this as it is cringe for their own fans like me.

I don’t understand the Android side of the argument. Yes Apple takes little things here and there. Android is direct knockoff of iOS as a whole. I mean come on. Android phones and tablets adopted notches when they didn’t even need to. RCS is a copy of iMessage. Samsung didn’t even try with these latest round of products lol.

Drew's opinion about a company's CEO bashing a poor decision (let's say the design inspiration of one of its own products) is the Western way of thinking. Samsung is not from the West. That's probably not how stuff works.
