What guy lived because he kept asking questions. Made sure the people around him knew what was up. If he got an "idk" he would move on to the next guild. A guild that wasn't run by idiots who can't answer simple questions. What guy was truly a master tactician.

Lol, for anybody unaware the "What?!" guy is Al from ReBoot, which was Canada's first 3D animated show. The running gag was that Al was deaf so he wouldn't be able to hear his Waiter when being addressed hence his catchphrase, "What?!" He was voiced by Michael Donovan. Also, Al is a hidden character who is never seen onscreen except during "The Great Brain Robbery", but he's completely covered in rope so the only thing that we know for certain about his appearance is that he is a 1 binome.

I love the consistency of SAOA, that alone makes it so much more enjoyable than the original series. The "WHAT?"-guy is such an original character even though he's not even shown and is like the perfect comedic relief.

If I remember correctly, somebody joked in the comment section in the first episode that the gag would be played out again in the final episode of the season. Hell it was practically word for word! I guess the guys over at Something Witty saw it and ran with it

I think I realized why the phrase "sometimes things are born, they live; and then they Stop. Forever," has such weight. In addition to the timing, it's the way he really pronounces the p in stop. it's subtle but it has an effect like when you hear something perfectly well but you go "wait WHAT" anyway.
