Ey up our lad our goer Keef. Cheers for sharing this recipe! Making a sausage, bean, and cheese melt at home sounds grand. Gregg's does a cracking version, but there's nowt like using your own favourite sausages, cheeses, and beans. Can't wait to give it a go - proper comfort food, that. Ey up tha' likes t'idea! Reet, 'ere in t'UK, pigs in blankets ain't what tha's thinkin'. We 'ave little sausages wrapped up in bacon, proper scrummy they are. Not like them beanies and weenies tha's on about. Giv' it a whirl, it'll mek a reet grand change! Cheers!

Well done Keef! As you say, probably not cost effective but at least you know what's inside. By the way, I recall even Saint Delia said life was too short to make puff pastry from scratch.

Nice one Keef, This will definitely be on the menu this week as I've got a load of sausages in the fridge for some reason, Just been shopping to ALDI too & didn't get any ready-made pastry D'oh. That's a fine pot of Basil on your worktop, I've sown three lots of Basil seeds this yea & all look like rubbish. I've just ordered some British Basil seeds off the ebay as they're grown for our lousy wet climate. Thanks for the recipe mate.
