@@cleme7917 theres 2 scps that come to mind: one is a portal that leads into alternate universes wherein the worlds are either converted into robots or flesh monsters. Unfortuanately it god deleted as a result of plagiarism. Article 2 is about a man infected with both 610 and 217, and got outcast by both the church and the cults, so he decided to become a ruler himself, if i remember correctly

One of my favourite virus SCP's, due to its effects: It turns you into a biological machine. It technically just changes your appearance, you still function the same way, even if major organs get replaced, but it's just to painful. And how easy SCP-217 can actually spread, spreading through contact, symptopms manifesting after several years after you got infected, just...horrifying. And SCP-217 is worshipped by The Church of the Broken God as their gods blood .

I remember reading a tale, forgot which, in which a Foundation field agent fights a CotBG priest who’s been completely converted by the clockwork virus hand-to-hand. He was abnormally strong but slow to react and slightly easy to predict. Still sentient and lucid, but much lower reflexes and takes slightly longer to think. Also that dampened emotions, guy was angry but seemed mildly annoyed, yet full of fervor.

Better to be an easily irritated and confused cyborg than a mindless flesh monster, unless you're like Dr. Bright and can actually maintain their sanity and individuality throughout the "melting" process. Though you should probably wear a fully sealed suit to prevent merging with other entities and scaring survivors.

@@condor2279 While the material is technically "organic", it probably doesn't mean it will be assimilated. You don't hear anything about plants being assimilated into an 001 entity, just flesh and bone creatures. Though that theory is up in the air.

This a really interestng SCP. It's amazing how it adopts the nature of the very infectious disease, yet somehow finds a way to make it even more terrifying. I also love the illustrations and images in the presentation. Yet another great SCP vid, illustrated.

And this SCP proves one thing: The Mekhanites do not mean well. Every time they help against the Sarkites, they do it for their own selfish reasons, to one day convert the whole world and every living thing on it into a machine. Wouldn't be shocked to find out, that Sarkites also helped the Foundation against an Mekhanite threat in the past. Whoever wins, Mekhane (spelled Meh-kah-neh) or Yaldobaoth (spelled Yal-dough-bah-ot-h), the outcome will be the same: Humanity and the environment will lose and become either mutated fleshy or warped metallic abominations. This is just the Mekhanite-Version of Skip 610. Concerning the video: As always, I love it! :D

Hmm; a good question. SCP-001 usually affects anything living, but SCP-217 isn't technically alive since it's a virus so it would be fascinating to see

Technically it's "organic" but you don't see plants being converted, strictly anything considered flesh and bone.

This Scp also came from Mekhane the Broken God so basically this is his mechanical DNA/blood mixing with human DNA/blood creating small replica's of himself from humans who are exposed to SCP-217
