Screen Cast with Android: How to make large drawings with Da Vinci Eye

Android and iOS Artists: If you are looking for a way to make large artwork using Da Vinci Eye without Mural Maker this is a great way to do it. I made this video pretty quick this morning for someone asking about the Screen Cast / Airplay method.
Also, I'll make a better version of this for iOS as well probably some time in the next few weeks. Let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks for this great video. I haven't tried it yet but I imagine you could perhaps tilt the drawing board and the phone to make drawing easier . . .or maybe not?😃

You absolutely can. A great trick would be to use the level app on your phone to make sure the angle of the board matches the angle of the phone.

I am going to attempt a 24x36 inch and this method could help a lot. Otherwise an HDMI cable twixt phone and monitor? Perhaps use VESA mounts on back of monitor to make some sort of boom for the phone? Then no need for stand on floor or table?

If Da vinci eye, or Mural maker comes to Android, would it be possible to use a dslr as the 'taking device',with it's internal wi-fi to connect with the phone..?🤔

It does! Instead of pressing screencast there is a button for Airplay / Screen mirroring. It looks like two squares offset from each other. Check out this link: www.lifewire.com/enable-airplay-for-iphone-ios-6-2438634#toc-how-to-mirror-the-iphone-display
