The trick, if you want better results, is to take the unconscious, automatic thoughts and knee jerk reactions to any situation and become conscious of those thoughts and feelings. This gives you real power.
You need to break the cycle so that you don’t remain slave to your impulses. You do this through using your emotional intelligence and building your self-regulation skills.
