OMG What a classic!!!! i listened to this song in the 90s on my Sony Work in Eastern Nigerian village... i never knew the title, not until in 2017 after a long search on Google.. God bless America for giving the world such a talent..
I actually had the verses stuck in my head. His raspy voice is what I remembered the most. I spent some time looking for this song and finally found it when it was played on the Office.
Awesome guy, met him and his wife about 10 yrs ago at Bumbershoot in Seattle. We were selling his records in a booth outside while he was playing inside, snuck in a few times and was blown away. What a talented, down to earth fella...keep pickin'!!
Outstanding footage of this very talented singer songwriter. I've always loved this mans music. I remember the first time I listened to his first album, it was so inspiring, especially for songwriter like me. Thanks for sharing!!!! Mark
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this song BECAUSE of Shawn Mulllin's voice. It would be wonderful if he had a string of hits! He needs an agent to open the doors for him to do just that... I pray it so!
This was my introductory song to Shawn. It came into my life just as I stepped off of a rock n roll stage and into the arms of the woman that walked with me into the next chapter of my life. An acoustic chapter and I hope she walks with me for the rest of my life.
A major talent and wonderful story teller, it's that simple! His new album 'Honeydew' is sheer genius, got it yesterday and can't stop listening to it. Order it now!
Oh man what a performance. I never knew what to think about this song but the way he brings in all those little extras like there is two people backing him up is simply brilliant. Oh boy 👍👍👍.
