I'm not bias I love all cars but it's crazy that a coyote with 150 less wheel horse can pull away from a hellcat/ redeye! I know power to weight is the factor. I have a 2007 supercharged 4.6 3v making 470 wheel and I pull away from my friends hellcat who made 640 wheel. Minor weigh reduction 3v cars weigh 3400 so I guess the 1000lb+ weight difference is the big deciding factor!?

The 15k extra version would beat it” and probably still wouldnt 💀

I had a narrow body redeye challenger before my 20’ GT500. The GT500 is clearly faster from any roll. 60-130 tested with my dragy the Shelby is almost a second faster on same road and similar DA. I will say however on a prepped track a tire the redeye can 60 ft significantly lower than a stock gt500.

the only weigh ive seen them even come close to the gt500 was with seats out and or a drag pack from a dig but towards top of the 1/4 mile the gt500 still gets them usually . also light mods and they can beat demons and mustang gt with suspension and bolt ons smoke hellcats at the dragstrip. so this wasnt a surprising thing when hellcat owners started jumping ship to ford for either mustang gts gt350s or gt500s. Actually been seeing chevy guys doing the same and slowly you are even seeing people pull LS swaps amd putting coyotes in and crazy when its now chevies and dodges getting ford motors
