Well done I think that this style is the first or one of the first Chinese martial arts. Also it is the grandfather of Judo you can tell by just watching it thank you and please have a good evening 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊 excellent video.
Yeah, but how do you get to that point? When would this be real world? When people fight they are facing each other, when would you get to the side holding THAT hand?
We learn this exact same technique in Japanese jiujitsu, tai otoshi as a few others have mentioned. Not a fun one to be uke for cause you hit the ground quick
He used to hold classes out of the local Gracie Gym. Many of their students would come train with everyone. I can tell you… Shuai Jiao is very different from Judo or BJJ’s standup. He’s showing it in a very simplified manner. In action, it’s constantly spinning, it’s like watching a Silverback do BaGua. LOL. When I asked one of the BJJ black belts what he thought, he had nothing but good things to say. He basically said It’s like trying to hold on to a tornado with an attitude, lolol 😂 😂😂 perfect description
Cover the insulation in the ceiling it's leaking tiny fibers into the air that you breathe in. You can't see them, it's not good for you. Thank you for the video sir!
Cada vez que veo las increíbles técnicas de este arte marcial chino no dejo de asombrarme por sus derribos, proyecciones fluidas y depuradas, saludos desde Venezuela, gracias por este corto video
My last training in Judo was many, many years ago, but watching that video, I immediately thought: "Tai-Otoshi"! (I understand that the grip is different, but there still is a remarkable similarity).
Your left leg is too much on the left .as you throw you have to have solid triangle ..but yours is too much....anyway, in reality you wouldn't have so much time
We'll have to see if it stands the test of time. How it does in real world situations and fights. How does it fare in mma competitions. It passes the eye test, for what that's worth. And the gentleman is good at showing and explaining.
I was taught to grab the tendons and small bones and eagle claw while throwing. Rips collar bone out while tossing opponent. That's my family martial arts. I'm descendant of Wong Fei Hung. I'm an old man now and I have no one to pass my martial arts on to.😢
Fun fact: Wing Chun was designed for counter Shuai Jiao/Mongolian wrestling. Based on my research, the local lord that challenged Yim Wing Chun, the woman, was trained in shuaijiao/mongolian wrestling from his time in the capital.
This explains why the first form, Siu Nim Tau is trained short/grappling range first, unlike other arts which train mid-range techniques (punch/kick/etc) first.
