I normally shy away from RTS games as I find them a bit much to focus on. I jumped into this game because of the different modes and I have to say, although a little light at the moment, I'm loving it so far! Can't wait for more updates 😄

@@DavidEzequielPerez First off the genres are RTS and Shooter, but off the top of my head Command & Conquer Renegade, Heroes & Generals, Battlefield 4, and Natural Selection 2. Each does it a bit different, but in general you've got a person playing strategy while everyone else runs around killing eachother.

The air units will be awesome. Nice to see some carpet bombing and an attack heli in the footage. Please add H.O.T.A.S. support. The game needs to support one "throttle" with it's own usb cable, and one "stick" with it's own usb cable. Some games don't support that, hopefully Silica will! Hopefully vehichles with multiple (gunner) slots for players will be added too the game too.

I really like your game , and for this I want to offer a few ideas :1. I see that you are going to add flying equipment, I like this idea, but flying units are not suitable for bugs. I would add artillery , anti - aircraft bugs and a huge boss bug to them . 2. I advise you to make flying equipment expensive or study it, because flying equipment will be the most effective. 3. For people, I would add a new technique like a HUGE armored train on gravel engines on which there will be a lot of automatic turrets and it is possible to transport not only soldiers but also equipment. Just imagine such a situation : your base is being attacked and you called a train , when it arrived all the troops board it and at the last moment leave from a huge army of beetles to another base .Naturally, they can be controlled by an ordinary player . PS. I'm sorry if you didn't understand something or there are errors in the text, I just use translators because I don't know English

Wish for more plasma / laser weapons and also that shooting mechanics feels more heavy / have more weight to them. It sort of has this Squad feel when shooting = feels your guns has paper weight. You did really well with Arma 2 and Arma Reforger with weight of the guns

Immobilization of ground vehicles/mobility kills would be interesting. Defensive units that have a cooldown for setup/teardown would be nice, like being able to deploy sniper or artillery. Revive would be huge for team work.

The first person stuff needs more love, re-loading, grenades/mines, pistols. If the plan is still for no logistics/infinite ammo could at least be a tech tree thing for the barracks. APC's are a must, esp after you bring in players being able to command local ai. I think there needs to be more to reward scouting, be it crates or some kind of objective to make early game more interesting. Vehicles need a first person mode and better ability to do long shots with scopes, like apc suggestion, vehicles would be more fun if a few players could hop in. The game looks and sounds amazing, very excited to see where it's going. I just fear most of my friends who would be more in it for the fps side will get bored fast. Really need the different infantry to be more class based to keep them feeling invested.

Okay, you've got my credit of trust. I will even change my negative review. Hope you live up to our expectations! And please make it easy to move. Now it is very boring, especially in the early stages. And especially for the beetles, it’s unpleasant to respawn away from the entire battle. We want to be able to respawn and take the beetle to the battlefield right away!

Will there be a way to identify players from ai soon? I think this is gonna be pretty big, especially from viewing people in the map

you can identify players as a Commander in-game by looking at the name of the unit as it appears on the ground (it will say the name around their feet i think from command view) However i would assume that it is Intentional that infantry cannot distinguish players from AI because that would just lead to them being focus-fired into submission. with FPS commanding becoming a thing i can easily see a player taking command of a Goliath and using a bunch of other crabs or something to defend it as a swarm but you'd have to pay attention to be able to tell, plus not being able to tell the difference allows for some tactical play (possessing a Hunter for example and continuing to run directly at a human infantry player, only to juke his shots last second and freak him out LOL)

Id like to see more user friendly UI for the rts mode. its pretty bare bones atm. I love the idea of this game but as of now feels empty. Get inspiration from games like Age of Empires for the rts mechanics. Also don't forget about key mapping and more graphic options, these should be number one on your list.

- No performance improvements - No AI pathing fixes - No populating the map with objectives so you do not run around aimlessly looking for something to do - No improvement of FPS feedback and visibility (even in this video's footage you can see how hard it is to see what you are shooting at if its a bit further away) - No speeding up the game so you do not have to wait for 3 minutes for your tank to be built

This game is awesome but I really wish you guys spend 6 months after 1.0 to dedicate to a campaign. RTS games are often heavily carries by campaigns, then players delve into pvp online. AI also needs tweaks and difficulty options, but overall great game!

Ridiculously photogenic male specimen. Also, THE ONLY GOOD BUG IS A DEAD BUG! I also hope, there will be some sort of "Teleport"-Like thing for the smaller bugs to use to get going in a direction. It takes so long for the little bugs to get to the bases. Then they get popped because they are only crabs. Then they have to start it all over again.

no, live service and pay2play kills games. Silica is doing exactly the right approach for releasing a niche RTS+FPS Masterpiece, it receives updates like weekly with patches, fixes and improvements. If that's not your jam, just wait another 12 months for the full release. Until then, everybody else is already enjoying this awesome game :P

Early access did not kill games it's developers that abandoned their games. You can see the same with some kickstarter projects. You can tell which game will be done and get out of early access by seeing how much developer care about their game and how much communication there is between developer and players.

@@zorintoto1167 Surely the bills could have been paid somehow for 6 months while all these features are implemented and then the game is released into early access, being more fleshed out. I'll be surprised if this ever averages a few thousand players again.
