Kerry said when they weren't recording or touring he would most of the time be on his own and barely seeing the bandmates outside of that. He described his relationship with Jeff as "business partners". That doesn't mean they hated each other though. It was just Jeff being Jeff, that's how he rolled.
I miss Jeff R.I.P. As a 14 year old kid hearing hell awaits and discovering slayer I wanted to be a guitar player like him. Never got as good but damn I had a lot of fun trying. Thanks for the inspiration Mr. Hanneman. You are missed. \m/
@@marshaltito7369slayer never really changed they just evolved into what they are now, metallica just basically said fuck thrash and went to a whole different style
@@eliezerborjasjasso186 Metalheads have become one of the whiniest and most liberal groups I've ever seen. You can't even say that a certain band sucks cos they'll call you close-minded, gatekeeper, and other retarded labels. Then there are those guys that think that ultra-clean-produced metal is "evolution" and it should not sound raw and powerful.
@Jamie Koering Bungle and Faith no More were respected by anybody who liked 'real' music. I've even heard them say they liked Elton John. If it's good, it's good ...
Most mothers, Christians or not, would be appalled by Slayer's music and imagery. Even Jeff Hanneman said you have to have issues in order to enjoy Slayer. I like Slayer, but don't act like their lyrical content and imagery isn't fucked up. Automatically associating any opposition to Christianity is childish. Hell, at least Christians don't kill anyone who listens to metal music, like what goes on in countries like Iraq. You can literally be jailed or killed for listening to metal music over there. I'd rather be told I *shouldn't* listen to it than have my freedom or my life threatened over it.
Great video! Had me cracking up. You wouldn't expect such a heavy band to be so funny and goofing around. People shouldn't judge each other like they do.
dude I love Slayer my dad showed me Dead skin mask by Slayer and all that I grew up on this my dad showed me a lot like Pantera, Slayer, Metallica, Gun's n roses and other bands (I had a good childhood)
Thanks a lot for sharing this, I love these guys, highest point of my life was meeting them in person, Tom is the most down to earth fun person ever, and you can see it here too, they all are.
Literally the most awesome band 👌 ever. Lots of underrated talents! My 10 and 11 year old daughters would get a kick out of these guys 😂. They are awesome all the way around 🙌
I didn't realize Kerry King was into carpet pythons back then I love the morphs that was in this video jungle carpet pythons one of my favorites as well right on
I did as well. I also bought it on DVD when they finally transferred it over to digital. It was great to see them live on the Divine Intrusion tour in 94-95 with Machine Head & Biohazard. Just as in the video, the guys from Machine Head joined Slayer onstage and played Venom's Witching Hour. It was truly awesome to see live! Peace
Awesome! Feels so much like being 15 again. just love their view on live. Just regular guys living the Metal! They „didn’t care and still don‘t“. SLAYER RULES!!! 🤟
