June here - back with an interview with my daughter. This is a particularly emotional interview for both of us. We talk about what life is like inside an overtly homophobic organization when you know you don't fit their perfect vision of a "young Christian woman."
Thanks so much for all of your ongoing support. And as always be yourself - no matter who you are, who you love or what you believe - and be well.

I am deeply ashamed of myself for once being part of a community that was homophobic and sharing in that thought once upon a time. Your daughter has a great heart. It comes across very much in the video. She is a beautiful human. Glad she can be herself and will not need to pretend to be anyone else. Everyone deserves to be happy.

Hello. Can you please help me? I am not a JW but my wife was born-in. How can I show her this is a cult? Our 6yo daughter is also being indoctrinated and I have no control over it. All I can hope for is for my daughter to wake up one day like June Junior and hopefully my wife does too.

@@SUSHI4lyf if you haven’t already you may want to watch some of Lloyd Evans and JT &Lady Cee videos (critical thinkers) videos…. You can’t show your wife out of the cult, you may want to start with thought provoking questions and allow her to come to her own conclusions…. Her battle right now is that you’re a “worldly” person and you don’t “understand” the new system, the religion(cult), who Jehovah is (governing body) etc…. She’s in her safe bubbles and in the back of her head she will @win” you over with her obedience and dedication to this cult…. It’s so much about this cult that is truly mind boggling…

Thank you for sharing. This is a very worthwhile conversation and I feel it will be helpful to many people. JJ, you have a beautiful energy - it comes through in your voice and in what you say. You may feel you've lost time with respect to the pace you've received your education, but I feel the perspective and experience you've gained in your young life will prove to be very valuable as time goes by and you get to know yourself. And June, I love your channel. It's a great contribution to humanity as we release the stronghold religion has had on us, the damage it's done, and as we heal and grow stronger.

I love your intro! I just subbed, and I hope your channel continues to grow. Your daughter reminds me so much of my little sister, even the way she laughs while talking sounds identical! Thank you for sharing your experiences, June Jr! I love my sister SO MUCH 😩 She’s a very meek person. She’s also the peacekeeper of the family, which puts her in a position where she suffers in silence and apologizes for things other family members say/do. It would be incredible if you eventually did this type of interview with ex JW’s from around the country/world. You could do a split screen, or just alternate between cameras. I would be willing to be interviewed. I was born into it and left at age 18. I actually had a calendar in my bedroom and would cross off one block every night because it meant I was one day closer to turning 18. I spent my teen years planning my escape. I was homeschooled for high school, so I used that to my advantage and graduated at 16. I entered trade school and finished at 17. I wasn’t ID’d, and I easily passed as being in my 20’s because I was tall. The instructor didn’t find out until the night we graduated 😆 So the day I turned 18, I picked up my certificate and applied for my first job. My JW parents would raid my room while I was at work. I worked 24 hour shifts on an ambulance as an EMT. They were looking for evidence that I was fornicating lol. By then, I had become completely numb to them and just didn’t care anymore. I put a deposit on my first apartment and left shortly after. I have lots of very vivid memories from before I was old enough to talk. I know this is rare, and a lot of people don’t believe it, but they can be verified. I have ZERO positive memories from my childhood involving this “religion”. I have lots of negative ones, though.

I have never been a JW, but I do remember the two women who used to come to my house and talk to me. This was about 1979, and I've never had another close encounter with a JW, unless they were trying to give me a magazine. I wasn't feeling it, so that encounter with the ladies ended quickly. I'm glad you all left as a family. Life is too short to live in a lesser world than we are entitled to. Guilt, shame, control and fear do not build well-rounded people. I like your family so far. Go on and live your lives to the fullest.

Great stuff! Brought back alot of good and bad memories. We did a Fake Thanksgiving too but on Friday and never told others. Now looking back, we watched movies all the time we shouldn't have. We would visit family every December when I was young. I remember loving their Xmas decorations and feeling very guilty. I too still don't know how to make friends. Honestly, I don't even try anymore. I didn't try to excel in school due to the end being right around the corner. Loved the interview. Thank you for letting others get a glimpse of what life was like as JW and the aftermath. Thanks for sharing. Sending y'all a big virtual hug.

Your family is amazing! I am so glad, especially for your daughter's sake, that you found your path out. You made it out together and there is much joy in that! And your videos will help many others! I like your daughter's advice to her younger self... That it's okay to lie. And I like your correction on that... That protecting ourselves, protecting our privacy, especially for those most vulnerable, must be more important than sharing information others will use to harm us, and should not be considered "lying". Good job, both of you!

Fck! Awful JW moms are awful. I'm not a JW but have a 6yo daughter who is slowly being brainwashed by her JW mom. I once decided to give my daughter a present MAKING SURE THERE WASN'T A HOLIDAY THAT DAY. I gave my daughter the present/gift. It was her first time receiving something gift wrapped, so she was so excited. I saw her eyes glow up when I gave it to her. As soon as she put aside the wrappings and went on to play with her gift, her grandma, my wife's mom, stealthily took the wrappings and disposed of it. I was incensed! My daughter loved the bow and I planned to keep it for her. But I couldn't say a thing because I was in their house. My mother-in-law is normally nice and warm, so I let it pass.

For those of us who are mostly ignorant of the ways of the JW organization, it would be nice to have some descriptions of some of the inside operations. What is pioneering? What is publishing? What is family worship night supposed to be like? What is a committee meeting and being removed? That kind of thing. Keep up the good work!

Again it's love that saves you from unhumain policies/religious slavery. I wonder what you wanna do next with your channel?.. Maybe people that are watching it might love to testify other than by commenting...
