This is just superb, I have been researching "bulking diet without getting fat" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Senictoria Bulking Paradise - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some decent things about it and my work buddy got great success with it.
It tastes like beer, and if that's what you like then try this recipe. If you want a soda substitute then just drink sparkling mineral water. You can enhance the flavors with fruit slices. I made a hibiscus soda by adding dried hibiscus blossoms to mineral water and allowing them to infuse the water into a deep red color. You can sweeten thinks up by adding stevia too. Hibiscus tastes very similar to cranberry.
My mother and I have been addicted to Pepsi for year's and this week we're kicking the habit cold turkey. - Today is our 4th day in of no Pepsi at all and we're craving something more Pepsi-like than flavored seltzer. All that said, we tried this... It was not so bad. Added some Agave, and a drop of coconut extract and boom. We're in business! It actually even smells alil like Pepsi, and taste like a coconut soda. If you like vanilla Pepsi, you'd like this. We were SUPER SKEPTICAL, BUT GLADLY SURPRISED AND WILL BE SURELY DRINKING MORE OF THIS! Thanks Doc!
Yes, you have to try it. If you need a sweetener, I recommend either maple syrup or honey. Try adding different things like mint as well. Really good for you unless you have stomach issues. You can de-seed first.
I use 1/3 glass of low-sugar fruit juice plus club soda or seltzer. good with the balsamic, too. Just tried it. pure vanilla extract or flavoring works well, too.
I myself have a massive soda addiction especially pertaining cola to I've been trying to find good substitutes I can use in my diet I'm going to try this
You and me both I found an awesome video. That’s just blended fruits and bubbly water she give an option of honey water for optional sweetness. Here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-N1d9SH-2usw.html
20oz club soda, 2tbsp balsamic vinegar, 1-2tsp Pyure brand stevia sweetener, served over ice. Tastes ALMOST like RC Cola. So weird, but so healthy, and delicious.
Yep that's what I make - the Stevia transforms it into drink I'd enjoy even if it wasn't for health reasons. I"m looking into other natural flavorings that could be combined to make an even more "commercial" taste.
I stay away from artificial sweeteners. If you going to use any kind of sweetener, you should use sugar. As long as you don't consume over 20 grams a day, your body should still have no problem metabolizing it and you can still loose weight.
@@bwest6275 not really, the point is to not add any chemicals or anything that is bad for you... stevia is natural, 3-4 times sweeter than white sugar and doesnt raise blood sugar or insulin levels also stevia has been linked to a few health benefits aswell
This could also be made with a Sodastream for the sparkling water. I have a co2 welding tank and an adapter to refill the sodastream cylinders, saving lots of money.
I found it to be the most delicious soda I've ever had, it's like a sparkling wine. I made my first one with a Bubbly because I had it on hand. A week later, yesterday, I had another one with St. Pellegrino. Today I've been in pain all day, my kidneys didn't like it. I used to get kidneys ache when drinking 2 or 3 carbonated water. It doesn't happen to anyone I know.
I started with a full Tbl spoon & it was a bit tart, but oddly I’m on my 3rd glass & my stomach has not had the first cramp or knot !!! Love me some Grundy!!!! Cooking out of his book tonight, oh yeah my miracle noodles just got here. Time for a change 👍
Add a touch of lemon or lime! Also I add half a pinch of pink salt (not sure if it’s ok for this diet, but it adds something nice to the flavor and makes it more effervescent). I also sometimes do ACV instead of a dash of citrus. Again, not sure if it’s ok for this diet, but that’s how I get by not guzzling champagne every night 😩🥂🤣🤣 It’s worked these past 3-4 years 🤷🏽♀️
This sounds so good! However, as someone who drinks a lot of soda, is this method viable for replacing soda in larger amounts per day, or just that one can? Is balsamic vinegar good for you if you drink the equivalent of 5+ cans a day mixing balsamic vinegar with sparkling water?
my review FROM ME TO ALL OF YOU THAT WANT THE TRUTH I just went to the store got me the ingredients, because I was about to order the balsamic vinegar online ( I still think it would taste better or have a different flavor) but in the end I got it together and it was the best drink I ever tasted, ( maybe other people have a different taste) but in the end I really love what you did today for me its a little bitter and sweat between the mix so I added lemon a little might help in the future but if its to get off the soda ill take it thank you.
I actually tried this today (with regular seltzer mind you) and it kinda tastes like I'm drinking from a dressing bottle, it's not bad but I wouldn't have it everyday
Wow, Thanks so much. I tried it. I wasn''t sure about the size of my glass (maybe 12 oz), so I started with 1/8 tsp BWS. It tasted like vinegar. I addéd 1/8 tsp more of the salts and it was pretty good. I the added some liquid stevia I make at home. Yummy! Someone commented it has a cola taste, tome it didn't, but a nice sweet tart flavor.
passed this one on to a few places FB /G+ and some e-mails . Always like this Dr. and have been ordering some of his products this last year which have been good. Going to try this one for sure ... love Vinegar..
Kids probably wouldn't like it as I am a kid i was just making this because I had no soda at home at the time its not bad adults would like it more than kids it doesn't have a lot of flavor so it doesn't really taste to much like a soda but its not bad for balsamic vinegar and I added some lemon and vanilla extract for some more flavour
Alternative recommendations are usually just awful. This one actually sounds quite good and is at least worth a go. I tend to like the taste of balsamic vinegar anyway and it probably has a lot of similarities with cola.
I love the good idea for your own soda. I'm going to try. I never drank soda (mom said "no") -- so I said "no" to my kids. If you never start, you never care about it.... good eating habits *start* with moms!
Bike-O-Vision Indoor Cycling Videos Online:I had a stepmother and she said no EVERYTHING & ANYTHING but when I come to find out she was my fake mom,I said “screw it!” I’m having coke & twinkies, cigarettes and unprotected sex & eat babies
you look fantastic for a 90 years old man , congratulations your soda is winning for you. Soda is not addictive for people with a strong will, I tried soda with stevia at Ikea it was great, can't wait to have it by coke or Pepsi, 50 ml with some honey roasted almonds is worth 100 times balsamic tar vinegar.
Thanks Doc. I will give it a try. Balsamic vinegar and olive oil make an awesome dressing too, ... A good way to eat more of those leafy greens you recommend.
Would it be unwise to drink this often? I made some using your recipe and I thought is was really delicious, but I'd honestly would probably like to have one like 3 times a day.
I’m gonna try it! But I’m gonna assume this would be healthy nothing is wrong with that much sparkling water and it’s just balsamic vinegar right? I have a friend who would drink the left over balsamic vinegar from their salads and they never got sick from that
What is wrong with you people? I had hope and knowing i already hate Vinegar taste I was still willing to give this a try. Balsamic Vinegar is bleh. I put it in the carbonated water. Granted there is a sweet flavor somewhere hidden in that Balsamic but its down right just 95% Vinegar and 5% Sweet flavor from the grapes. I tried to remeasure and taste again. No, I put a full glass of Soda Water and 1 tsp of balsamic and the vinegar is just so powerful. I am going to go on a limb here and say you are all genetically adapted to enjoy or ignore the flavor of Vinegar.
this is the review i was looking for. i can't imagine vinegar in soda water would even remotely compare to diet coke lol. this whole fermented food craze is nuts. we're gonna have an entire generation of old folks some day that have no teeth and are constantly drunk because they've turned their belly's into a brewery lol
Hi Dr.Gundry, thanks for all the amazing info you’ve been sharing with us. I make the same drink , but with ACV . Does it make a difference whether you use Apple cider vinegar or balsamic vinegar , except for the taste ?
I'm thinking of trying it, but wouldn't the vinegar taste overwhelm any sweetness? Or would it still taste close to soda? Also, does anyone have any citrus soda alternatives? Love me some Sprite, but heard even that is pretty bad.
So the carbonation puts you at risk for Diabetes and heart attack? Or is it just the sugar in regular soda? Is it proven that diet soda causes these issue or is it still up in the air? I assume that the artificial sweetener may tamper with gut bacteria. Also, the salt on diet soda is not good for you. But, what if you drink diet rite which has no sodium or aspartame but Splenda? So in diet rite, the issue would be the Splenda? But back to my first question, is carbonation bad for you? I will try this drink recipe and possibly add some carbonation to it. Thanks
