Softrucks vs SkaterTrainers: Beginner Practice Skateboarding Trucks

Yeah I do like the skatertrainers because of the real trucks you use. But the softrucks do take away the fear of the metal trucks. Like one time the kid at the skatepatk was trying to kickflip while moving on his skateboard and he could not control the board flipping straite under his body. And then I let him use my softrucks and told him to try it stationary with the Softrucks and then he landed a kickflip on the softucks and then went back to his normal skateboard and landed a stationary kickflip. Then he landed a kickflip while moviing. So sometimes i think just using the softrucks to get over the fear of the normal trucks can help but you definitely want to move to your normal skateboard as soon as you can to learn your trick. Also learning kickflips moving or stationary first depends on the person and there skill level and how they like learning tricks. So i feel like sometime people hate softrucks and sometimes like them. But def don't want to get used to them so you have a great point with the real truck feel with the skatertrainers. Maybe someday soon someone will create a more realistic skateboard trianer truck?? Thanks for the awesome comment Mathew!!!!!🤙🤛🛹!!!

Awesome RaKanMusik. Having the ability to just throw on the Skater Trainers on your wheels is very convenient. And I used them for tons of skasteboarding lessons. But Softrucks have been around since the early 2000s and they have always been fun. They don't give you the loose feel of having metal trucks but they definitely help you develope your kickflip and heelflip flick. If you ever had some extra cash I would get a pair and just put them on an old skateboard deck. The Softrucks definitely lasted a lot longer than the Skater Trainers. But the Skater Trainers lasted pretty long untill they broke.The Softrucks fall apart but it takes years for the rubber to dry out so they last like a long time. Yeah nikolai1239. I like softrucks better because once you get the setup you don't have to setup, it's ready to go. But the Skater Trainers are cool because they have a little bit more real feel to them because you're actually using your skateboard you skate with. But these definitely will help you gain confidence with your ollies and flip tricks, manauls, and shuvits. I use them all the time during my skateboarding lessons to help the students gain confidence in learning ollies on the practice trucks and then taking the ollies to the pavement and cement. Also the softrucks have helped me with kickflips and I have seen it help other people understand the idea of how to flip the board underneath their body mass so they can land on top of it after the board does the kickflip. Yeah I like softrucks the best and Skatertrainers are loud and I could see it being really loud in your garage. And I am not sure I have try the soft trucks on rails yet or a ledge. I need to try that. I think it might hellp with learning feeble grinds or K grinds, which I have been struggling with. Thanks a lot for the comment livenjarchau218🙏 .
