Be careful using clay every day. It holds bacteria on their legs and can cause cellulitis if there’s even a little scratch. She does not need clay after every ride. It should but used ONLY WITH VERY HARD workouts. Such as jumping, running a barrel race, eventing, etc.

Hi ALL, lady dose NOT need clay on every day, unless she is in hard WORK. Most people I watched on RU-vid are event horse .SO thay do three disaplines in one day. Thay do dressarg, show jumping and x- country jumping of about 20 jumps .Take care and all the best. 😊😊😊😊👍👍👍👍 p.s. give all the horses a pat from me. 💟💟💟

May I introduce something, So when you said Lady has a problem with biting and chewing wood, I suggest buying wired fencing with metal poles, Therefore she can't chew and ruin your fencing, I had this problem with one of my horses, He would chew and chew on my wooden rails for my fencing, He did it so bad that he got loose once, So I decided to use wired and metal poles to prevent this from happening, Now he just chews on his hay, At least it ain't wood

Seems like possible boredom with the chewing? But it seems like she gets plenty of exercise so maybe not? Could try a salt block or extra hay, horses are natural foragers she may just need something else to entertain her mind!

Not sure if he's too old to be interested, but if you offered the new boy goat a bottle (even just a little bit), it might help him to bond with you. Might be worth a try, anyway.

Draft horses are bred to push into things, reinforce your fence sooner rather than later. Learned the hard way with my Perch cross!

I had one of those things youre talking about when you said fight or flight in your brain. Its called a mental breakdown. I had one 9 6 18. I had one bc i had been abused for 6 yrs. My breakdown was,so bad that it caused my cortisone levels to go really low so i had to take cortisone tablets for 6 months.
