They're really cooking with this one so far... The jump in quality in the animations and visuals compared to recent games is CRAZY! It looks _polished_ for the first time in over a decade.

I’m not a huge fan of “Shakespearian” Shadow dialogue personally, but I’m not going to pretend that Shadow isn’t one of the most formal characters in the series lol. He “always” refers to Eggman as Doctor, etc. and in the case of Biolizard I feel he’s saying what he said because Black Doom is definitely pulling the strings behind why it makes a reappearance. All that aside it was enjoyable hearing your passion for the series and the game itself. Looking forward to any uploads in the future. Crossing fingers SxSG knocks it out of the park 🤞🏿.

Randomly got this recommended to me, and happy I did. Love a fresh voice/take on the current Shadow happenings. Keep fangirling over those wings (and legs??), looking forward to more!

10:07 He's also been in stasis for most of that time. He hasn't _lived_ that time, he just _existed._ Him being in stasis is kind of a big thing, it's how he was introduced and why he wasn't trying to activate the ARK SA2. He's only really experienced a few years of life, namely however long between his awakening on the ARK and the GUN raid, plus however long has passed since SA2.

I don’t think Rouge will be in Shadow Generations because she’s already in Sonic Generations, but Omega will definitely be in Shadow Generations because he wasn’t in Sonic Generations

'Is it someone new?' Welcome to the realm, I hope you continue the thought and analysis vlogs. YT has apparently been throwing more day-1 channel contents at people's home pages for some time, but this is the first 'first' I've seen on mine in a while. On Shadow's voice: I still haven't taken a liking to Kirk's portrayal. Of course I also haven't heard much from him over the past decade.

yes i’ve noticed that! part of why i decided to start up now is because of that reason. about Kirk’s voice i do agree. i think with a great voice direction he sounds great. i do prefer his portrayal of Shadow in Sonic Forces, in Shadow’s campaign. sadly, it didn’t stick. i do hope as he goes it shifts more into a “natural” sound and not this forced “edgy” sound

@@valentinescookies. I'll be honest I completely forgot about Episode Shadow. Definitely an improvement there given the lack of raspiness. Good voice direction might be as simple as: "Remember, NOT season 1 English Vegeta." "The Hell do you m-?" "-DON'T... and you'll be fine."

I abhor Shadow's spin-off game, but I have no problem whatsoever with you liking it. But for me, I only love Shadow in Sonic Adventure 2 and in my headcanon, his noble sacrifice at the end of that game was permanent.

I think another thing that quite overlooked about Ian and frontiers is his contributions to the pre dlc story was more on the limited side, and he was mostly just writing the dialouge. Now i wouldn't be surprised for shadow Generations if Ian has alot more input with how sonic teams director acknowledged Ians understanding of the characters in frontiers.

So, when Shadow the hedgehog first came out for PS2 in 2008-9 somewhere in there I was 15-16 years old. At 30, I seen this trailer and felt that tinge of excitement I haven't felt since that game or sonic unleashed. When Shadow The Hedgehog first came out with Black Doom (terrible name imo) I wondered why at least during the final boss Shadow never exhibits any form of his origin. Because his blood is from an alien race I suppose that would explain chaos control though I was kinda hoping for maybe his hair quills being able to move about or something like that. But this game gives him wings. Hell yeah. I don't even own any of the new consoles though I hope this comes to steam

i really hope eventually Sega remakes Shadow, that game felt like it had a lot of potential that I think could be polished into something even better now that Sonic team is getting better with the action game stuff in frontiers. Having something that is like devil may cry or Bayonetta but hedgehog flavored would be really fun

5:48 WHAT!!!??? Shadow's mischaracterization is not Ian Flynn 's fault, it's Sega's fault 5:58 and what are this issues? 9:49 he knows that Biolizard is also a victim. the poor lizard is suffering because his Life Support are hurting his body, that must be why he has his aggressive behavior
