@@bobjones5939 but this set was also being played online so that creates additional input lag. I'm not sure if this is still the case but playing online ps4 leo makes his backturn overhead unreactable due to the lag. It makes his already deadly mix up nearly unstoppable

The blood meter reduction is from the super. It comes from all of his nodachi normals, and the super if it hits.

​@@GothMoth_exe I'd highly recommend looking up all the blood reduction values on dustloop wiki - it has the numbers for every move. You dont need to memorize everything obviously, but some moves drain far more blood than others, and often times your combo/pressure choices should be based around optimizing your blood meter more than just pure damage. The blood bar is measured up to 300, with each bar line representing 100. The big reductions come from any HS normal (57 blood), the 3rd hit of far slash (115 blood), super (195 blood), and his command grab (280 blood). This is why Nago combos usually end with 6H, fSSS or super. It's not just about the oki/damage, you also get a huge chunk of blood drained. Some moves also drain a small amount of blood on block (mostly the HS normals), but the vast majority of your blood drain comes from actual hits.

Funny most people thought Nago was low tier on launch because if you screw up your meter management you die and you need resources just to move and play neutral. Nago is mad dumb but your reasoning is wrong and seems like you don't even play. His jab range is about the same as most other characters, assuming you are talking about his punch. His sword poke string is actually one of the slower F.S in the game and is super negative on block being punishable if you don't special cancel. Which brings to the next point, Nago's pressure is strong but he needs his specials to do it and without them it is actually pretty bad because he fills up his blood gauge to do it. Nago needs specials to do anything, move, pressure, oki and combo. But if his gauge maxes out his health drains by 50% and he can end up punishable on top of it. I get the feeling you don't play the game.
