This video goes over the repair for the Sony A7M3 Camera. The problem that we see as the picture will intermittently shake and jitter when filming video or taking pictures. The problem is caused by a bad IBIS unit. The part was damaged and needed to be replaced. The video is not meant to show you how to repair your Sony A7M3 camera however, just to inform you of this type of problem that we see on a regularly basis with the Sony Alpha A7M3 camera.

If your camera repair is as good as your phone service this is going to be a tremendous relief. Shooting stills and video with this shaky ibis problem is so nerve wracking! Thank you for making this video Sherman, and thank you for the outstanding customer service on the phone. I have the same problem. I use and carry my camera very carefully. Never dropped or used in harsh conditions. It is a 2.5 year old camera and it doesn't have the warranty. I hope that it will not cost too much to have it repaired.

I have an issue with my A7iv. When in Steady Shoot Action mode, I get a squeaking noise when the Camera is titled. When setting the Focal-length manually, everything is fine. Any idea what this could be? Sony tells me, that there is no error.

I definitely don’t think a squeaking noise is normal. Is the camera under warranty with Sony? If so, I would get it sent in to Sony and get this issue documented. I Have a similar problem, but not as bad. Sony ZV-E1 judders when panning slow even with steadyshot Off

Is it only doing it when you’re panning? If so, I’m curious if it’s doing it because you’re shooting in 24P. If you need help with it, you are welcome to contact us at videoonerepair.com.

@@VideoOneRepair Yes mostly when Im Panning and at 60fps the 1/125 shutter. Its a judder and slow panning speeds
