Nice vid... what equipment are you using when you do your pan shots?

you don't seem to like the 3d audio.. i was blown away by hearing sound everywhere! what surround sound should actually be but this isn't surround sound anymore it's 3D AUDIO!

Trying to decide between the Turtle Beach Elite 800's or the Sony Premium Headset. I am getting 800's used for 119.99 and I would be getting the Sony Premium's for 129.99. Which are better overall ? Also I heard the Elite 800's Mic might not be that great. What's your thoughts on what I should get ?

just tbought mine and tried it yesterday on Battlefield 1, Infinite Warfare it sounds great but thanks for that info on the power on button 2 for more bass and turning on VSS...WHATS THE BEST SETTING FOR BATTLEFIELD..

I saw some bad reviews about these on Amazon in terms of very quick wear and tear on the ear cups being eroded and the plastic components of the headset breaking easily. Anyone have these kind of issues?

You said that if you use the headset for anything else you will get stereo. Can I still use the Companion App and save a custom profile for 1 or 2 and then plug the receiver into my PC and get those settings? Profiles were saved on the USB receiver with the Golds

I have the Golds and i'm so disappointed with the build quality. I'm a mature gamer and i respect all my possessions but the Golds have cracked in so many places along the headband. The hinges have failed also. I like the sound quality from the Golds but my faith in Sony's build quality has hit rock bottom. I'm in the market for new headsets and at the moment i'm struggling to find something decent.

Why does 3D audio not work with the previous PS headsets that can provide 7.1 surround via the same hardware that is used to deliver 3D, why does virtual surround only work with the PS4 and why do I hear absolutely no difference between 2.1 and 5.1 audio when watching movies from the PS store? Games seem to be the only thing that works. From my understanding, 3D and virtual surround can be achieved with ANY stereo headset. It's just software, so wtf is going on here?

hey everyone if you care for the audio future read this Thanks :) sony could have made support for dolby atmos and windows sonic on ps4 and let that prosess the audio and deliver it to your headset without delay and it would work just as good depending on your headset/headphones even wireless. sony is actually scamming people that buy this headset kind off, its still a headset. windows sonic is free and does the exact same thing with 3d audio like dolby atmos and a ton more free alternatives on pc. dolby and sonic is open for xbox and ps4 to use as well. xbox already support both :) if sony finally decides to support dolby and sonic. and if we would finally be able to enable 3d audio and surround in our games for free. we need to change sonys mind about this as they say they do not intend to support it. Thanks for reading and if you can contact sony pls do ;)

My Headset dies in the same amount of time it takes to fully charge the things (3.5 hours ) my 500 p stealth headset lasted 10. Xs longer and didnt take but 30 minutes to charge.. not to mention the idiotic controls

Honest review guys PROS = amazing virtual sound (high & mid frequency) now brace yourselves.... CONS = Uncomfortable AF almost unbearable to wear Microphone quality is so fucking shit because its a low profile microphone it looks cool but the mic is so close to your earcup that your friends can hear themselves talking when you play with them which = SHIT also lacks alot of bass. Please if you after this you still want to buy them at least ask to try them on before you buy it to see how uncomfortable they really are. I bought these and returned them the next day cos theyre fucking shit and i ended up getting a pair of HYPER X CLOUD ALPHA
