Sony SRS-XB40 Review 

you know nothing about this speaker... the back "driver" is a passive radiator and the "EXTRA BASS" button changes the EQ to bass heavy and you get highs if you use songpal properly

I got it a couple days ago, the bass is unbelievable (price too £99 bargain! same price as the flip 4) I didn't think portable speakers were capable of this kind of sub-bass, it blows my desk speakers out of the park. I play a lot bass heavy music, e.g g-funk, Brazilian Bossa-nova, UK garage, Boom-bap etc you'll have more bass than you'll ever need, on certain equaliser settings/songs it sounds like one of those cars that shake your house with their sub system. The bass is powerful and apparent even at low levels which is crazy. Surprisingly its not that heavy, in my sports bag it feels like the weight of my basketball shoes. Sound level is very good, when connected to my Macbook (less than 50% Macbook volume 50% XB40 volume) it completely filled the room, so from my estimation you could probs fill a sports hall on max volume (bare in mind laptop sound drivers are more powerful than phone sound drivers). To truly appreciate the overall sound / bass you need to stand back from the speakers about 1-2 metres. Definitely use an equaliser though, its very easy to have too much bass with this speaker and without tweaking an equaliser or using a preset, the highs and mids wont be that pronounced (more so on the extra bass mode). I thought the light feature would just be an unused gimmick but its actually really cool and customisable *BREATHE* Feel free to ask me any questions about the XB40.

This channel has a pinch of comedy, I enjoy their approach and the fact that they point out the key features of products.

im going to buy the speaker just because i love love love bass, but, i dont like how its made with that weird plastic i like the xb41 more on the outside but i love the sound of the 40 more

but since mass is directly proportional to weight no one ever needs to convert it to newtons. You can compare mass to mass and it's basically the same thing in terms of comprehension. But I respect the humor so carry on.
