It's much easier to take something apart then put It back together. Do they have a vid showing how to reassemble It? One really great way to Isolate any noise that's hard to pinpoint Is to use a stethoscope. It works very well.You would only use the tube part of It not the flat piece at the end. When I first used It, I was blown away how well It worked.

This person would never be A tech in my shop He is not careful,, if you watch when he separates the base from the palmrest , quite a few plastic pieces shoot off onto the corner of the table,,and Really , a putty knife to separate,, also you should hold the fan when spraying compressed air,, you will over rev it and could kill the bearings,, Our shop specializes in Laptop Repair, we just dont specialize in sony , so thats why as a tech i came here to see the disassembly of this model,, at least i saw that. SMH,, your guy is a bit rough .. might want to retrain your techs a bit especially when posting vids to promote your site,, Just saying

remove cover. Locate exactly where the mechanism for the switch is under the cover.Check for loose connections, or the switch may have not popped back in place exactly where it was supposed to and you may have to realign it. Put cover back on. If this does not solve your problem, you probably need new parts.

Seems a little too brutal, at times. I have a Vaio VGN FW4 (PCG 3h1m) but there is a buzzin/humming when the brightness is not at the max value. Can I change some component to fix this or do I have to change the whole Display?

So how about that screw that holds the keyboard in place near the middle? Does this not exsist on this laptop or wasit ripped out? I didnt see you take this screw out and I am about to bust this keyboard trying to follow your video instructions. You need to clear this up. Did you already remove the motherboard and remove the screw? Maybe my model is just this different. But i still see the screw placement on your keyboard, but didnt see you remove one from that area. Going to watch again just to double check.

He is carelessly touching on board while removing fan and screws and applies pressure when removing parts. This dude a little brutal on disassembly. He almost strached LCD with screw driver 03:34. Check it.

I was wondering if you guys know how to repair/remove the left and right click buttons on this exact laptop? I have the FW43g and the buttons work, but require a stupidly hard press to make them work, so I'm guessing all the years of spilling beer and milk on it has left some residue beneath it... would really be helpful if you knew how :)

I have the exact same laptop. I replaced the motherboard because my dog peed on it, it turns on like it should but there is no image. I thought it was the ram that was damaged but it's not. Any suggestions from some one???

This type of video is meant for us to see where the screws are placed and in what order to take it apart.. If you have any brain you can see that it's already been disassembled because there is no hdd and some other stuff .. Don't be such a pain in the ass..

Guys, don't take apart your laptop. It's too risky and you just have to clean out whatever dust you can. Don't take apart your computer!

I would not have had my hands all over the boards, yanking wires by pulling the wire at the connectors, must I go on. Might be a good idea to stay away from brain surgery and being a fighter pilot too! Sorry but this is not professional.
