How to Make Spaghetti Squash in the Oven
Slice the spaghetti squash in a half.
Before seasoning the spaghetti squash, start preheating the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Using a large spoon, scoop all the seeds out of the spaghetti squash.
Place a sheet of parchment paper on a baking tray and put the spaghetti squash halves with the cut side down. Then using a fork, poke three wholes on the bottom of each spaghetti squash half.
Flip the spaghetti squash halves over, sprinkle them generously with olive oil and then add salt and black pepper to taste. I usually add two pinches of salt and a pinch of black pepper.
Flip the spaghetti squash halves over again and bake them in the oven for 40 to 45 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
When done, take the spaghetti squash halves out of the oven and let them rest for 20 minutes.
Once the spaghetti squash has cooled to the point where you can handle it, using a fork gently start peeling the layers of squash to make a nice bowl of spaghetti.
