I think one of the coolest things about Eric Nylund's Halo books was that he allowed his master's in chemistry to show through and make it an actual sci-fi novel. It also allowed jokes such as "she gave him a look that could have frozen helium" to flourish.
This page breaks down the process pretty concisely: wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Creation_of_a_Space_Marine Definitely not the most scientifically faithful approach to creating supersoldiers, but then again, 40K always operated on the 'rule of cool'.
@@RoanokeGaming WOW, i m suprised you haven't heard of 40k You honestly need to check up on i especially on youtube. From the Orcs, tau, eldar, necrons, tyranids. It's honestly a rabit hole since for some reason, there is always something you miss.
Despite S-IV's getting backlash, they make sense. Most II's and III's died during Reach as a very pinnacle time of the war, Human's last big secret found (aside from Earth and Infinity) and to keep up with a new, old or sudden threat, take soldiers that fought and lived and make them better to combat what ever heads against humanity. It sucks that we don't get a full display of S-IV skills because Chief Vs Locke is pretty much Captain America vs Spider man and to quote from Tony Stark regarding Cap "If Cap wanted to lay you out, he would of done" Which is pretty much a strong comparison between S-II's and S-IV's.
The Captain America vs Spiderman analogy is bullshit. Chief is >Locke. But he has to actually work for a W over Locke.A comparison to Cap vs Ironman would be more accurate.Tony is obviously superior to Cap,but he needs to put in effort for the win. This Halo 5 cutscene proves this and nothing suggests otherwise.
Hearing you speak about fortifying bones and stuff or whatever lol. I think itd be kinda cool if you did a video on how spartans would be possible. Or at least as close as humans could get to it being possible. Like could we fortify bones and increase all these other factors in ways that are similar to what they say theyv done to the spartans in real life. I know you explained some things in this video like how more oxygen to the brain means you can think more clearly and so forth. But imo a video dedicated to how possible it is would be a interesting video

He's busy enough that it might take him upwards of a month to reply to some messages in the ask room on his Discord server but he always replies eventually. I love how in Halo 4, when you finally meet up with UNSC forces, you're not rescued by Marines who are below you in terms of power and abilities, but SPARTAN-IVs, who are essentially mass-produced versions of Spartan-IIs. It's a startling moment which shows how the Spartans who saved humanity have become obsolete. It's a wonderfully meta commentary about Chief's role in the modern video game market.
@@JJ-br6qt hell if anything, they make up for lack of physical abilities with numbers and experience. the spartan II and IIIs were all young, so the IVs have experience to go off of
SPARTAN IVs aren't just ODST. They are hand-picked from just about every elite spec ops unit in the UNSC (like Navy SEALs, Army Green Berets/Delta Force, or Marine Force Recon/MARSOC units) or from regular line units from the Army or Marine Corps who proved to be more than exceptional. Jun selects these people and ask them if they want to be SPARTANS. They may not be like the IIs or IIIs but their skills and combat experience more than makes up for it along with the training Musa and other veteran SPARTANs would give them so they can be deadly force multipliers. BTW, thanks for uploading this! I hope people can appreciate the complexity of making a SPARTAN. Buck and Palmer mentioned the transition to being an S4 hurts a lot followed by numerous hours of retraining and therapies in order to get used to the augmentations.
agreed! A lot of people seem to just think that they are ODSTs in super suits, but there is a lot more to Spartan IVs than people realize! and absolutely man! I am glad you enjoy it! The halo videos never seem to do as well but I always enjoy making them!
Roanoke Gaming Question though. Given with the S4 augmentations, you think an S1/ORION operative can get re-augmented or are they simply too old to get the treatments? I seem to recall SGT Avery Johnson was 80-something during the Covenant War and he could still fight like every UNSC unit.
Honestly I don't get why they get a bad rep. They do their job, and the majority of them have definitely earned it considering they are veterans of the war with decades of experience.
Agreed on that a lot of them are, but the way 343 introduced Spartan 4s in halo 4 with palmer was like "wut" then the way they were portrayed in halo 5 was like "jesus Christ 343 these guys could be so much more cool if you didn't make them act like this"
A Spartan 2 with the Spartan 4 armor would truly be a God ! 117 would become Gilgamesh and a whole new religion would form around him... not that it already hasn't. Also, loved the "haven't earned" when pertaining to S4s and 343, both kinda running on coat tails of the originals!
Agreed on that broseph, they haven't been tested, they haven't earned it, they are almost like a cocky freshman. if 343 handles the Spartans a little better and makes them a little more "Spartan Like" then I am sure people would come around
Rufus Adams bro i worship john 117 as a profit n covie killing bad ass. John= lucky, as cortana mentions his name and in biblical point the name john brings luck.
What are you talking about? All of Blue team have Gen2 armour and Locke was still able to compete with Chief. -Chief's Mark VI is Gen2 -Fred has Centurion class Mjolnir which is Gen2. -Linda has Argus class Mjolnir which is Gen2. And Kelly has Hermes class Mjolnir which is Gen2. The boost they get from Gen2 armour isn't much different than the boost the Spartan IVs get.
You said if the AI went rouge it could just kill them yea that's definitely true but what if the spartan and the AI go rouge or the spartan does something that gives oni a reason to kill them then oni has a chip in the Spartans brain that they can use to kill them instead of actually using a squad to kill them and I bet that chip actually is a secret kill switch.
I think Buck once said about the difference between the generation of Spartans. The Spartan IV(4) are like demi-gods, Spartans III(3) are like gods and Spartans II(2) are like titans.
@@RoanokeGaming if I remember my Greek mythology correctly the "Parents" of the titans while powerful had little direct influence over the world to the poi t that their biggest contribution was the birth of the titans as far as this methapor is concerned not completely accurare but I havent peeked at such stuff in over 2 years we might need to workshop the Spartans I's into it a bit.
Well you have to think about it from a military stand point, the Spartan 2's were used in different roles than the 4's. The 2's were a spec ops unit that could be dropped off with an objective and be near impossible for standard forces to stop on their way to the target objective. The 4's are more of a heavy support/shock troop type unit that is employed to hammer stiff resistance or hardened positions. Since the 2's are used in missions where they HAVE to complete the objective to the greatest effect they would and should be given every possible advantage. Where as the 4's are designed to be effective but cheap enough the lose of several is no big deal in terms of force strength and cost. Comparing the 2's and the 4's really is like comparing IFV's to MBT's or a hammer to a wrench. One is not built to do the job of the other. Still not even a Spartan 2 could stand up to an Adeptus Astartes in 40k. Also video idea a compare and contrast of Spartan 2's and the Space Marines in warhammer 40k! =D
I see it more like a sniper rifle vs an AK-47. One is highly deadly in the right hands, but the other is highly effective, especially when it can be mass produced and turn a normal person (comparatively in the Halo universe) into a force to reckon with.
The other reason they went with adults and one of the big driving forces for it was cost efficiency. Since kidnapping and training childrens takes a lot of resources and time, and the UNSC requiered many Spartans to rebuild their forces, opting for soldiers of their army helps them reduce costs as they already have enough combat experience and will only need to train them to adapt their augmented bodies
While they aren't as enhanced as Sparten IIs, they're still easily super solders, even without their armor, and they're my personal favorite Spartan series.
Makes sense that the armor would decrease in weight overtime since their getting use to the armor. Still surprises me that they still use the same weaponry. I mean, it maybe four years after but still even we now contain laser weapons, despite being illegal for now.
Ive never given S-4s a bad rep. I thought the idea of ONI continuing the spartan program was a badass idea. The spartans will only improve, eventually there willbe a spartan generation better than master chief. Perhaps the Spartan 5s you mentioned at the end?
Mr Skull Face the cog are standard soldiers, the Spartans are super soldiers wa do u think will happen I say there will be a bit of a fight but carmine would get fucked up
Roanoke Gaming I have suggested video for you. I have a theory that COG or Serans in general are genetically engineered, there are references to Gene therapy in Gears 4. A long history of Gen therapy might explain why serans, are for the most part, tall, strong, athletic and age so well.
Holy heck! I really didn't think that the S-IV augmentation was so complex and advanced. Gotta give you the props man. You did a great job at explaining them. Love your videos. Keep making them 👍
ayyyee thanks bro! adding in the biology visuals is something I worry about as I don't want it to feel like you are in a class but I am glad to hear people enjoy it!
Spartan 10, I think they would just be the ultimate human, no need for armor again, the skin is the armor. They can take a nuke to the face no problem, punching rock, please, how about making mountains crumble. Falling from high altitude, how about jumping from one planet to the next in a matter of minutes. 😂😂😂That's just too wild
I think if this makes Spartan 5's better than Spartan 2, and if it keeps going on in and shows better results in Spartan 6,7,8,9,....I think Ancient humans will be in Spartan 25 class, true gods
What if the spartan V's will be like space marines? That would be gold. 7.6 feet bulldozers with two hearts stomping hunters to oblivion. oh boi, I NEED IT
Spartan 2 was more like an almost impossible to replace, true perfect car with gas mileage and muscle to make other cars blush. But again, not really replaced at all, so you're limited to thirty ish near perfect cars with no spare parts for when they inevitably get into a wreck. Spartan 4 is basically a Honda Civic like you said.
that's exactly it honestly, they haven't earned their way of the title "spartan" and theyre certainly not so humble or noble and surviving augmentation isn't a congratulatory factor. While their abilities are great undoubtedly, I think it's their personalities being so cheeky is what turns people off the most.
There are certain S-IV's that display a good amount of humility and nobility like Thorne, Buck, Dutch and Gretchen. I'm not fond of Osiris, but I'll have to admit that Locke and Vale have also displayed a level of this.
SrgtBarney I mean IVs are soldiers ODST pretty much so they are used to joking around, they haven’t seen their friends as kids die which is the reason for them being cheeky and not take many things seriously but I mean would they really put Spartan IVs through the same risks as IIs?
@@E_L_J_T Some ODSTs act like that but not all. There are some ODSTs who are serious in their jobs like Buck and the Rookie. There are also some ODSTs who literally have a huge ego and believe there are better than the Spartans. Other Spartan IVs are not only compose of veterans but also new soldiers with high skills from different branch who never been on a battle before. That's why they are other Spartan IVs that are not serious and took advantage of their reputation by example flirting with the ladies just like what 2 members of Fireteam Majestic did.
I disagree. Having your organs totally replaced and you muscle reattached sounds far less achievable than what the previous Spartans went through. 3 year old comment but whatever.
Even though they are know where near the level of the ll’s or lll’s, they are still incredibly impressive and honestly with the gen 2 armor they don’t need many invasive surgeries regardless. I would love to see the team who came up with all these augmentation ideas since the majority of those augs are certainly plausible and pretty scientifically accurate.
Another great and informal video on perhaps my favourite sci-fi universe the Spartans are cool and it'd be interesting to see what kind of modification's ODSTs go through along with the Spartan 3's
I actually have the video on the Spartan IIIs out right now! As for the ODST I will eventually be looking up if they have any enhancments or are they just homegrown humans
@@RoanokeGaming I'll have to go give the Spartan 3's vid a look then and as for ODSTs I don't know much but I'm aware they have a few implants can't remember what for but would happily watch a video on anything you can find out
These biology videos make me shake a little bit, I already know that the human body has a nervous system and all that but hearing it all again just feels weird in a good way.
well ODSTs are Orbital Drop Shock Troopers, basically they drop in and start blowing stuff up, and I call the Spartan 4s power rangers as they were brightly colored suits and jump around and have almost an attitude to match, not like battle hardened soldiers but like teenagers unleashed with mechanical suits that give them power
As A Far Knight Gaming commented, the Spartan-IV's does make logical sense. By bolstering existing forces, it increases the overall power of the military as a whole. By doing so, it allows more powerful soldiers to have a presence on the field and bypasses the issue with the previous Spartans - *the years before they are suitable enough.* By running the Spartan-IV program along with the Spartan-II program, more soldiers ready for battle is produced in comparison to either program alone. Time is a resource that must be used wisely. Bolstering existing troops while troops being trained via the more time consuming program is a significant improvement when looking at the military forces as a whole.
the thing about the spartan 4s is that they dont have the backstory. i get how their augmentations and history as soldiers is a plus, but they arent like the 2s and 3s for 1 simple reason. they werent raised in the military atmosphere. if you gave a 3 or a 2 a chance to retire, the vast majority of them wouldnt know what to do with themselves (with the notable exceptions of randal and maria, and i dont think the authors remembered the whole "augmentations kill sex drive and capacity for romantic love thing). the 4s are totally normal people. in the kilo5 trilogy the best part is when naomi, a spartan 2, walks into a bar and has no idea how to interact in that setting. thats one of the hallmarks of spartans. a spartan 4 would go to a bar on a nightly basis and have no problems. just an example. its the harsh psycological trauma that makes the spartans so epic, and if you ever read platos republic, and you equate "the gaurdians" with spartans, then youd understand WHY the 4s can never be true spartans in the fans eyes.
Hell yeah for Halo Lore \,,/. , thanks for having me as your first Q&A comment on your last vid, grats again buddy! - lets hope 343 dont screw halo 6 :)
Great vid man, far as the chip goes i just get flash backs to spider man 2's doc ock. With ONI's rep it would make sense if it were a kill switch like ThatOne Gut suggested. Really glade you included the real world stuff going on with Crisper's and the fecal supplements. Also with all the human augment videos you do have you ever thought of covering the augments found in either Mass Effect or Deus Ex?
Glad to include the real world stuff! I love connecting it to our universe haha and I will be doing Mass effect in the future, but I have yet to play Deus Ex!
I put your videos on every day in a play list keep up the great work u helped me sleep hundreds of nights I enjoy listening to your videos while I go to bed the evil within try that game
This makes me appreciate how much of a big deal it is to get the augmentation. Not a decision to make lightly (not that you could do it lightly anyway since youd have to be an excellent soldier anyway to get the chance
I might be able to do that down the road! With this video, I feel it was better but not so much better that it would do much for the other videos, give me some more time to learn about what I can about video editing and when the time comes, I will def redo them
I have always loved how the Spartan program just always seemed to make sense. Even in the lore the original Spartan 4s were made similar to the Spartan 3s were they got proven military soldiers to upgrade into Spartans. Then once they got the green light they basically mass produced them and convinced young people to sign up through propaganda.
ill be real with you, if i ever undergo the spartan 4 procedure, ill opt for the spartan 2 procedure also after all its only a 60% fail rate which means theres a 40% chance of survival
This is coming really late, but I’m back in the Halo mood and really wanted to see this stuff. The comment saying Spartan-IVs are ODSTs I believe was meant to imply that many of the Spartan-IVs early on were ODSTs that volunteered for the program, so a good portion of their ranks were originally Helljumpers before the augmentation. Or at least that’s what I always thought since it’d make sense to make your next set of super soldiers to be the best soldiers on hand.
I’m curious about what a spartan 2 in gen 2 armor would be like. Gen 2 was meant to make up for the lack of spartan 4s abilities. But technology can only go so far. So would the gen 2 armor even further enhance a spartan 2? Or would it hinder them? Because the armors abilities can’t keep up? Since the gen 1 armor was not meant to make up for the shortcomings of the 2s there was obviously more room to enhance what they already had.
omer ghani Though nothing changed in his performance, or at the least nothing created in halo cannon states any change. Witch is part of why I was curious.
@@CompactCowboy The scaring to the right side of his chest piece was no longer visible and they got rid of that carbon fiber like material in the middle of the chest piece. Yeah I'm sure in expanded lore they might have gone into more detail about his updated armor

With the release of the Halo Encyclopedia came new Spartan Bio-Metric Information, combining this with the Bio-Metric Information garnered from the Official Spartan Field Manual and other game pre-release sources we finally have a clearer picture of the Bio-Metric standings of each class safe for the original Orion candidates of whom we only have 1 example of which is Avery Johnson. (Before beginning I would like to clarify that the height data presented in both passages (Halo Encyclopedia and Official Spartan Field Manual) are Mjolnir Armored and SPI Armored height ranges but that luckily we are able to convert that into their baseline augmented height as we know mjolnir makes an operator 9.7 centimeters taller than their base height and while SPI is not as bulky as Mjolnir does possess a similar baseline framework and components.) For those of you curious, her SPI and Mjolnir Armored Height is 5 ft 3 Inches which would make her unarmored height 4 ft 11 Inches and she weighed 177 lbs. Don't mistake it for weakness however as detailed in Legacy of Onyx, she was able to contend with and even beat Spartan III Male Tom - B292 who had a Mjolnir Armored Height of 6 ft 9 Inches and an unarmored height of 6 ft 5 Inches, he also weighed 265 lbs. i dont think spartan 4s are not that bad just very poorly handled from 343 like with ops and halo 5 with ops they could have stuck with their guts and done more with it and showed how well S 4s can handle heavy fights and with halo 5 well with the way the story was set up and the way the game was setup the with the 4 player and over need to call for help every time you die just poorly done anyways enough with my ranting lol can you do a theory video on mark 7 being in the next halo game what it could be or what is more up your the horrors of halo AI rampancy
I can get use to spartan 4's 343 just need s to turn down the spartan 4's attitude, if not then I wont like them plain and simple. They need to make a spartan 4 version of rookie, or noble six you know the strong silent and humble type...I like blank characters just depends on the game. In Spartan ops and halo guardians I just wanted them to stay silent they talked too much to me. Well really everyone did in the game. But if most of there augmentations were just given to them cause they were the best Odsts and given the chance to become a Spartans by choice. If so then who ever said there just ODSTs in armor wasn't that far from the truth. Still liked the video though...
PERFECT summation my dude, I agree. I think they are offputting for a lot of people as they are so cocky and its like 'WHY? WHY ARE YOU COCKY YOU HAVENT EARNED ANYTHING!" Then they go around and try to basically take down chief. Not a great way to make people like your creations
I have some questions for you regarding Clone Drone in the Danger Zone; 1. Is it possible to download a human's consciousness into a robotic body? Is there a limit to how many times you can do it? 2. Is it also possible to burn metal? Can the "fire" in game be actually acid or some other chemicals? 3. What do they use for the swords that lets them cut through almost anything? Plasma blade? How does that work?
With all of the extra augmentations, particularly to the circulatory and nervous systems, the caloric requirements of a Spartan must be absolutely ENORMOUS (Even with the ability to get more nutrition from food and the "intestinal bio-reactor" constantly replenishing their gut flora). Like, I'm talking probably 5000+ calories a day for even a Spartan IV on shore leave (or whatever equivalent of downtime they get, since I know they're not all constantly deployed or on a mission for every waking hour in the postwar universe). For the bigger, swoler S-IIs, I'd reckon they'd need up to 9-10,000 calories A DAY to stay optimally functional on active duty. These are all somewhat informed guesses though, granted that I can't seem to find any lore explaining the nutritional needs of a Spartan of any of the generations, but if there's anything in canon that actually does go into this at any level of detail, but I'd be happy to find out if any such lore exists. The idea of an S-II jumping out of a Pelican from 400 meters, clubbing grunts to death with an AR butt, slamming through walls at 30mph and drop kicking sangheli in their split jaws, then going back to the UNSC frigate in orbit to savagely demolish 3 double-dough, extra cheese and pepperoni pizzas and washing them down with a liter protein smoothie kinda makes me grin.
The Spartan 4’s still have a lot of potential with the whole created vs humanity war coming up in Halo 6. A good idea would be a ‘civil’ war breaking out between the Spartan 2’s, 3’s, and 4’s. Essentially they could have Cortana attempt to gain control of the Spartan suits. This could lead to some pretty creepy fights where you have to fight some Spartans who are essentially dead inside their suits, but the A.I’s now just controlling the suit like the Flood does with its hosts.
Spartan IV's are pretty cool, we just haven't seen any endearing Spartan 4 doing something admirable. Like, we got Buck and Thorn, but that's pretty much it. Maybe the Spartan 4s need to experience a dire situation that can really define what makes them great.
Im glad spartan's got an upgrade i know some of yall saw gen one, mark 4's got their shit pushed in by atroix one little brute and im sure mark 5 and 6 gen 1 couldnt handle it either but hey gen 2 sounds more promising to handle some fight like that
I learned so much from watching your videos is that I too want to be a biologist as well I really want to learn more from you so I can get a more better understanding
My only question is, if they have the capabilities to perform all these incredibly invasive procedures and turn out successful results, why don't they just build a superhuman instead of turning volumteers into them?
The procedure is extensive and does account for bones but. The forces applied to Thier organs are astronomical it would take one hell of a mutation to remedy this.
I give ya the car analogy thing... but man... I dont play the games but I watch a bunch of the cutscenes and the books are really good.. when I read fall of reach... wooooo... the entire first 8-9 chapters and prologue describing and "showing" the results of the successfully augmented II's was just awe inspiring... and to see a mass produced soldier be comparable felt so disappointing... and there were little nods with halsey talkin to the 4's and being like the 2's WERE SOLDIERS that inspired humanity... and the 4's would never compare..
So, a little story of how i found your channel: So i was perusing through my usual list of channels to watch, and eventually ran out of things to watch. Bored, i skimmed through the trending tab to see if there's anything of interest. Then, i saw in the "channels on the rise" section, you. Usually, i would ignore that section because it usually never gives me any channels of interest, but then i saw that the videos were gaming related, and explaining the physiology of various lifeforms in games. So i thought, "eh, why the heck not" and checked the channel. I looked in the about section and realized, to my amusement, that you were a guy who was well versed in biology, and you were reviewing biology in games. *You were doing something unique.* And that is when i started to binge some of your videos, while thinking to myself: _"in a sea of unoriginal sellouts, overreacting personalities, and trend followers, few people stand out from the crowd enough that they are worth your time. Few people manage to not appear as the same old guy as the other. Few people stray away from being trend followers, simply flowing with the stream that they know will lead to wealth. Few people rise above the others, not to follow a trend, but _*_set the trend._*_ This man.... Is a potential trendsetter. This man... _*_Is a man worth watching."_* -"DJ", A.K.A Gohunt 001, 2018 On an unrelated side note i am not willing to put in a separate comment, would you be interested in analyzing the Cryptids from COD Ghosts' "extinction" mode?
Well then I am glad you gave the channel a chance man! I really appreciate the comment and the compliment concerning what I cover! I figured if I find this information interesting than surely there would be others that would like to watch something like this and I am glad I have found that community and niche. The Creator on the Rise brought with it a massive influx of people coming the channel and it gave me a chance to get out there and show people what I have to offer, I am ecstatic that in return they have actually liked the content As for COD, I haven't actually played Ghosts but I can definitely look into it and see what I find!
Very close because honestly, Spartan IIs are godlike, still tho, IIIs and IVs are badass and almost on par, I just always imagined IIs had more training overall
Ich think the reason for Spartan IV being weaker is that they are augmented past their growth phase. Their bodies had not enough time to rewire everything in and so they will eventually become better over time. But they still will be weaker than spanrtan II or III because they (at least most of them) lack the genetic prequisits. Thus could explain why some Spartan IV's Like Palmer, Buck and Locke can hold up to older Spartan generations.
Theirfore the Spartan IV's in Halo Infinite, taking place in 2560 (likely)(2 years time jump), could have reached their Spartan Potential, being augmented for 2 to 7 years.
The blood clot augmentation makes me think that Spartans would be highly susceptible to blood clots considering they clot easier aaaand their hearts are obviously stronger increasing blood pressure but at the same time their veins and capillaries are the same time
I've always wondered how close we are to being able to have a mini lab/pharmacy implanted in our body, able to moniter all our bio chemastry and could even catch problems and allert you to seek medical treatment long befor it becomes a critical issue. Say constant monitering for bio signitures that would allert to cancer, or flood your body with chems to counter act stress, or also improve focus, oxygination of body tissue, spread imuno boosters when you start to get sick, and suplement you constantly with the near perfect dose of vitimins and minerals at all times, or be able to order food talored exactly with what you need without hassle. Could even help reinforce good restful sleep, and be programed to wake you right when you get done with a sleep cycle rather then have to wake up to stress of a alarm, keep your hormons in check and acne would be a thing of the past, at least not severe acne. prevent things like arthritise long befor they are ever a problem. Oh and the new advancment of sinthetic muscle is really cool, could even just augment existing muscle and have it trigger with your nervious system. Seems like AI doctors could be programed to do a lot and with detailed info on large numbers of people would be able to have much better understandign of all sorts of health problems. And just being able to acelerate recovery times would be a great boon to society.
Spartan-IVs are Spartans with the less powerful/higher survivability enhancements and large numbers from the III program, and the emphasis on veteran volunteers, ala Spartan-I/Orion Project.
@@RoanokeGaming it's been a couple years, I shared this a bunch and, because I knew most of this before hand, had said as much long before. Unfortunately, "Spartan IV's are ODSTs/Marines in Spartan Armor" became so popular by the mouth breathers that it more or less is canon through terrible books like Bad blood and retcons to established lore. Kind of like what ID Software did with doom eternal, 343 is chasing after what's popular via word of mouth and changing lore to match it. I heard it's because Frank O'Connor, who wrote most of the lore for Halo when 343 was making Halo 4, isn't the writer or project lead, and it'd been confirmed most employees at 343 are on 6 month contract as per Microsoft. When 343 was given full custody of the IP, they had a strong and consistent lore writing. People didn't like it, and Microsoft hired Brian Reed who ignored established lore to make something he wanted to see, and ever since Microsoft has been chasing after whatever makes money. So if bad ideas and misinformation is popular enough, it becomes canon now. If 343 stuck to their guns about the lore I'm sure more people would come around, but instead we have the mouth breathers and the publisher pushing the developers to push out so much inconsistent stuff that Infinite was "a soft reboot" to basically detach itself from everything minor facet before infinite came out.
@@RoanokeGaming so it's like Skype but you can chat with your friends and some youtubers make servers and you fans can talk about lore anything and I would love talking to same minded people
In regards to the crisper I have read a lot about it but I've never heard anyone put it that way. On another note about the Spartan IVs my issue with them is that they kinda feel too common and they replace the ODST and the Marine. Not literally but ingame. I doubt Spartan Vs will appear anytime soon; seeing as how slow the current timeline is going. I think there will still be at least 1 more Halo game after Infinite that takes place during the Reclaimer Saga. I feel like there would be more updates to Mjolnir, like making MK VII cheaper and deploying more before we see any Spartan V. I like what 343I is doing while their games are "meh" at best but I love the expanded lore that they have done since taking over the Halo franchise. (edit) I feel like the Spartan IVs are too numerous. I kinda wish 343I would focus more on the surviving Spartan II and IIIs. S-IV - 500+ S-III - 300+ S-II - 12+
