@@backwoodz912 You're right Quay. Once u get hit with what you are charged with. You gone look at the paper like wtf😂. The cops count dam near everything when you running away
in fairness, they could be passing someone in the right lane, and only going about 75 mph or 80 mph, and so 120 mph and 130 mph will get on their ass quick!
@@jackson5116 Exactly. New law in my state says cops can write you a ticket for being in the passing lane but not passing. If these drivers were passing, they're good to go. What floors me is most state laws say move right when emergency vehicles are overtaking you; how about when both speeding drivers veer to the RIGHT lane just as you are? Quite a few near misses in just that couple minute chase.
you got to lose them quick in the first several minutes before helicopter and backups get the word. His biggest advantage was taking off within seconds of the cop getting behind him
Got a 2010 SS ls3 m6, they are limited to 150 - 155 mph from the factory. But they will hit that in 4th gear. Simple tune will get rid of that limiter. Headers and tune alone will gain about 40 more to the wheels. Good intake with headers and tune you'll have at the wheels about what it had at the crank when stock.
Camaro got away because they took advantage of the heavy traffic as well they should since they ran initially, but open road that Camaro might not be that lucky once that radio start to working, them bad plates are what really saved them
Kudos to the cop for recognizing he lost 'em. No point in going 120 mph and putting other people in danger when you have no idea where they are anymore.
Yeah because he’d rather pit the guy into the opposite lane of traffic where multiple families are traveling to get home. Anybody wouldnt miss this slow Camaro if they were as reckless as trooper Byrd.
@@ConemantheBarbarian im bitter because I actually have people that I care about and they care for me, they can be easily be driving around when a car gets pit rolled on top of them. Just because you’re a loser with no family friends or girlfriend/wife that could give a damn about you doesn’t mean cops can go around driving recklessly because you have no one that would miss you or you would miss. Sounds like you’re hurt and mad that your daddy never cared for you.
Lots of brainless blacks doing the running too, check out the videos of those who are captured, 9 out of 10 are blacks and most likely stolen automobiles too.
That Camaro driver was the luckiest and most daring driver I have seen as he really couldn't out run the police car but he sure could out do the officer with reckless driving which he did. I don't know how he got away and cut in between traffic like that so he does have skills!
@@markmidwest7092 You seemed to have missed the point. I did state earlier that he was extremely reckless! I wasn’t trying to highlight his skill set but it still took a level of proficiency to pull that maneuver off.
@@lyingasshoes9455 you missed the whole thing the guy was speeding before this and Out ran a previous cop this is the second cop that was radioed from the first cop.
Arkansas state law is different than most states in Arkansas if a ASP pulls up behind you and turns on lights and siren 🚨 you must run like hell . LoL 😂
I guess that goes to show you just what a Camaro can or can't do. That Chevy needs to go back to the dealer to get the rest of the horsepower they left out of the sale.
Some of them are debatable. Yeah some of them just are not paying attention but if you ever had a trooper come up behind you st 120 it happens so fast then you got a truck on the right of you where else are you supposed to go
most never look in their mirrors. That semi driver almost pinned in that Camaro, so they tried to help the cop, only they inadvertently helped the criminal!
They are the newly arrived essential illegal alien drivers. Same thing here in Los Angeles, Mexico. They will even make their turns at the light when emergency vehicles are sitting at the intersections waiting for them them...
Actually the RS V6 is Governed to 155, the SS 175. This is the Base V6 model which is governed to 124(due to non Zrated tires) which is why the speeds dont go any faster in the video. The RS V6 has the same Tire pkg as the SS therefore speed is governed Higher(155). Give this guy props tho cuz he still shook him at 124 lol
@@connorviles9398 Meant the 5th Gens. But maybe so, I know the RS V6 would be limited the same as the SS then(155). Base models way lower(124). The 6th Gens i know nothing about.
It annoys me when people see a cop car behind them when they are in the fast lane passing someone, and the first thing they want to do is hit the brakes. For god sake people, if you are passing someone, SPEED UP, DON'T HIT THE BRAKES. The cop, in the middle of a high speed chase, isn't going to pull you over for speeding cos you sped up to get out of his way. Bloody smarten up people, check your rear view mirror regularly, stay in the slow lane unless necessary and get out of cops way as quick as you can.
I think some people are struck with a momentary panic of thinking they are the one being pulled over. i've almost shit myself in a similar situation with a motorcycle trooper.
This section of I-40 is always congested with trucks and slow left lane huggers between North Little Rock and Memphis both east and west bound, I hated driving on that route during daylight but night time traffic flows with ease but still more semis on it than light cars.
@@Eurolaflare Should still go way over 120 though. I had a Jeep Liberty which is like one of the slowest cars available and even that thing would hit 120 with enough effort and room.
@@BossItUp911 I owned a CRX with 92hp. I'd have loved to grab the Euro spec with 160... My Focus has 350hp from 2.3L (152hp/L, but admittedly forced induction and also not the highest specific horsepower production vehicle). I also used to own an S2000 with 240hp from 2.0L n/a engine (120hp/L, a record at the time for a traditional ICE naturally aspirated production vehicle). 311-335hp from 3.6L is strong, and quite fun in practice, but not super impressive hp/L (at only 93hp/L, though it does blow the socks off that anemic CRX which only had 61hp/L).
@@afterburn2600 I'm on my second s2000. This one on boost. Would smoke an "impressive" v6 camaro like it's standing still. And it's really not even close to fast. But major congrats that this impressive camaro would blow the socks off a 1980s CRX DX (like the 5th tier CRX, behind the b16, DOHC ZC, SOHC ZC, SOHC Si). The Camaro trophy is in the mail.
Finally a cop with brains and no ego. Most of those foolish maniac cops in Arkansas will try pitting a guy at 100 mph without regard for what the car does after it's out of control.
Got to love how you guys sit on the side of the shoulder and wait for people to go speeding by. If one of us was to pull over on the side of the road you would pull up behind us give us 101 reasons why we need to give you our ID and you need to search our vehicles etc. And then if someone hits you you're the first one to blame the other person for not paying attention got to love it.
Driving A Hot Car draws attention, and these guys have been driving Hot attention grabbing cars since they were 16, that "not signaling" habit gets gets broken real quick. You can see the "Drivers" just do it unconsciously, it's part of the Flow. Other than speeding and all the laws being broken doing that (and the stolen cars) these guy we are watching run are probably the safest most aware drivers on the road.
stupid sheeps better stop giving props to cops, thats the wrong way. It goes the other way around ina real world. Thugs rule and the currupt statesystem gets bent and eliminated soon. We build a new system a fair system where all people can live fair and in freedom. Explained in simple words.
That was his the dispatcher/supervisor over the radio who told him. Asp will endanger 100x more lives than what the suspect was originally doing just to get a chase in
@@monroe7403 No, it's not, unless you are in the extreme. Look at the accident statistics. The slowest 5% has the most accidents. The fastest 5% is 2nd. The people in the 80-95% are the safest. If you aren't doing 30 over, or driving like an idjit, simple speeding is perfectly safe.
Had a chance to PIT him early on. I think it needs to be done more. A few more of these idiots start losing their lives and/or expensive toy cars, the less likely they will be to run.
@Mike B Think about what you just said.... You HOPE a person running from the police collides with my family.... That's Fucking epic. And the reason you said it was because I made a comment calling the suspect a "good guy". A comment that was clearly made in jest. You are a POS, but I would never ihope your family would meet the same fate.
Must have been a 6 cylinder Camaro. I love how the trucks take a nap in the left lane and keep the cops from passing. Maybe they'll get pissed enough to start writing some of these trucks.
Believe it or not, this is a base model Camaro in this video but it came down to trooper skill vs driver's skill. Unfortunately thr bad guy won this time. The ZL1 Camaro is a monster but this was not it.
@@puffm696 I own a Camaro myself so I can tell the differences that most may not be able to. Every ZL1 model came with dual tip exhaust diffusers. The one in this video has single tip diffuser with single tip dual exhausts. The SS uses a similar diffuser to the V6 so more often than not, people can't use the diffuser itself to judge models on these older Camaros. Also, another way of being able to tell are the wheels. This is the dead giveaway in this case. You can tell they are the narrower base model wheels when viewed from the side (and even the skinny width from behind). These particular smaller 18" wheels (look at it at 2:01) will only fit a V6 model with regular size brake calipers. The SS and ZL1 have much large brembo brakes which these wheels will not fit. Some V6s come with the larger wheels but that's a different story. Above all, the acceleration looked painfully slow. A ZL1 Camaro hangs with and beats Hellcats on occasion. The SS Camaro is also extremely quick. In fact, I regularly see modified SS beat hellcats due to their lighter weight. Hellcats are too heavy.
@@The_Hulkster Wow you know your stuff my man. I always have issues determining trim with people who de-badge their cars, I wanna get good at being able to properly determine the trim myself though, so these are some good pointers of what to look for!
They have traffic cameras at intersections and ones out in the open that use trippers and send you tickets. Cop should take pictures of the assholes that don't yield to their lights and sirens and mail them tickets. Lots of bad guys get away by cops being blocked.
This the FIRST time im seeing the suspect GET-AWAY! from the Arkansas State Police and I am always praising the Ark Police on there oustanding record for getting the suspects and there aggressive tactics (pit manuvers, etc.). You guys are now slippling. I got you down in the 90% range. #StepItUp
