How do I fix an issue when I follow these steps correctly but AVC countersteers in the wrong direction? Same with two rx SR6110AT and the 6100AT and even tried a new radio but it still countersteers wrong

@@ParcoUpchurch Apparently while doing the calibration if you steer the wheel to the left first and then right, that will reverse the AVC steering pitch. Full steer right, then left during calibration, and the AVC steering pitch counter-steering should be active. Hope this helps!

@@rclunatic have you tried switching the switch on the hand remote to reverse it to get forward. Them after doing so rebind and recalibrate again with the new settings

Grate video! Does someone know why my steering is reversed on my kraton 6s? I have to switch the switch knob to R for it to be normal. It’s not a big deal, but kind of annoying. I have the DX3 with the SR6110AT. I’ve calibrated it a couple of times to try to fix it but I can’t seem to make it reverse bak. I’ve just bought it in used condition. Thanks!

Change the motor rotation in the esc, i had this problem with a spectrum motor/esc combo i put in a slash 4x4. It fixed it. I also read, you can switch the yellow and orange esc plugs from the battery, but I didn't try that one, no need. I only speak about what i have experienced, i am in no way a pro. Just a dude with youtube and a couple rc cars.lol

Thank you. I thought it was a bad receiver but wasn't sure. Horizon sent me out a new ESC, and now I need them to send a new receiver. Seems their warranty people don't talk to their tech support people, so they waste $150 on a new ESC I don't need. Time to sell it on eBay.

I appreciate the help, but over explaining and showing us in the middle of Celebrating how not to do it makes it a hard watch. Still trying to figure out the way to set my steering points. Just FYI, explaining the right way and letting us know what could go wrong not during the process. I still thank you for the explanation.

I cannot reset to factory and i cannot access settings (blue LED). I do as instructed and i get no reaction from the DX3. Just an orange LED when pressing the ON button, release and green LED. Trims is set correctly according to the video. How can i solve this issue other than buying the Bluetooth component? It's a Arrma Talion 6S EXB. Brand new. Looking to set my endpoints and increase brake before taking it our to bash.

Thank you for this video it is really helpful as I had one of the Outcast 8S cars that wasn’t bound from the factory and then wouldn’t work after binding . I sent it back for a reset and now all is good . If I had seen this vid series before I posted it back I believe I could have done it myself 👍👌👍

Any of you guys , after bidding and doing this calibration, ever had the car acting up by itself , like the throttle going full or cruise than stop for a brief of seconds , was scary to me, is sometimes defects on the receivers?

Thank you so much for this video I recently got a used r/c car, and for the life of me, couldn't get more than about 10% brakes out of it. Plus I couldn't calibrate the ESC on it, because it wouldn't see reverse or brakes from the transmitter. Did what you recommended to do on the bind and calibrate, now I have a fully functioning r/c now. Thank you again!

Followed steps but when I go to full throttle it actually goes full throttle. Not sure why it does not go through calibration.

Great and helpful video. But I have one problem that is nowhere to be read. When i turn the steering full right, after 1sec throttle kicks in. If I turn left, the reverse kicks in. Steering works but after the endpoint, i get throttle or reverse. So I tried everything from this video..resetting everithing, bind again, calibrated..nothing worked. Like the channels are mixing. Its on vorteks blx. Everything is stock and the wiring is ok. Running out of ideas... :(

OK so I have done all this and my car is responding just find BUT I cannot adjust the trim, AVC, or brake anymore... I feel like I've tried everything! Anyone know how to fix this! I put the trims in the positions he says and it works but like I said I can't adjust anything from the remote???

Hello friend, I have a radio dx3 and in my arrma infraction 6s I will have moved some settings with the bluethoot module in the app, the problem is that when I detach the avc does not turn off and the wheels no longer turn, instead when I reactivate the avc is always active and the wheels instead turn, I can not detach the avc yes and mixed with the servo, Please help me.

My avc is backwards. Steering is correct, but the avc corrects in the wrong direction. Have reset the dx3 and rebound multiple times. The range on my radio is only about 100 feet too. Makes driving a 3s truck no fun! I have the dx3 and sr6200a.

You guys should do a video on how to adjust steering and throttle end points, I got one of the new DX3 and i would like to set up the throttle end points to a higher percentage to have more control over throttle but the instructions are confusing. Especially since the knobs do not have notches to indicate what percentage you are at.

My Lasernut came with the right turn limit set low so it won't meet the calibration point. Resetting the transmitter fixed the problem. Much needed video for these new Spektrum equipped vehicles.

The video covers it fairly well :) BUT one thing that we see people struggle with is if the receiver is not mounted flat in the model and the model is sitting flat on its wheels. Keep that in mind and follow the instructions and you should be good to go.

This is funny. When I first got my db pro a long time ago I bound it to my dx5c and could not for the life of me figure out why it would not steering throttle or break correctly. I didnt calibrate the receiver after binding! This video fixed my issue. Funny thing I just got an infraction and did it again! Forgot all about this step! Lol I usually dont use avc receivers soo forgot all about it. Lol

What model Arrma is on the right? The biggest one, not the Typhon.. Thx for the vid. But this binding should be much easier and you should be able to use multiple receivers per transmitter like any Traxxss or any other brand TX/RX.. I dont need it to save the settings or anything but when i turn my Traxxas car on, as long as ive binded that receiver before the transmitter will pick it up right away and i can use any Remote thats most convenient or just keep the remote with each car if there is special adjustments needed for regular use like end points or something else important

The Problem I realized with spectrum SPMSR6100AT channel 2 dose not work with ESS one Engine sound simulator, I don't know if there is a fix for that or it just wont work.

It is because when using a Smart ESC, the receiver then uses a different communication protocol between the ESC and RX. One workaround is to plug the ESS into another open/AUX channel, and if your radio can program mixes, to mix the throttle channel to the AUX you plugged in the ESS to.

My axail ryft will not stay bound to tthe car hobby shop says I horizons respable horizons says is hobby shop respable so I have a broke $700 RC car customer no service. I will be leaving the hobby because of horizon hobby.

Hi Julie! Sorry to hear you are having a bad experience. Don't give up yet! RC is a very rewarding hobby! That said, the common culprit for your issue is not exactly that it is not staying bound but the receiver's AVC is not initializing. This is likely because the car is not sitting stationary, level and on its wheels for 5-10secs after power up. Another common thing that we see is that people will leave the receiver unmounted while troubleshooting. This will also make the AVC not initialize because it is floating in open space dangling off the wires or what not. IT NEEDS TO BE MOUNTED IN THE RECEIVER BOX :)

Is there a way to switch the directions of steering? My outcast is the only one in my fleet that I have the steering switch on R. (Reverse) all the cars are on N. (Normal) and it’s triggering my OCD

There is not, it really depends on the geometry of the steering linkages and the servo itself.

Hi! Without seeing it first hand it could be either the AA batteries are dead OR if you are using a model with a smart esc and battery setup that the battery in your vehicle is dead. Make sure you are using good quality AA batteries and that your drive packs are charged. Hope that helps!

Make sure you have the ESC mode set for Forward, Brake and reverse. Also there is an option to reverse the motor in the ESC settings as well. ALSO make sure, on your transmitter, that you have the brake rate and reverse end points turned up to 100%

On some receivers, it may not go completely out, but very dim, which is completely normal. If you follow thru the steps it should function correctly.

Hold the bind button when the transmitter is off, and while holding the bind button, turn transmitter on.

I did have an issue following this to set the throttle. Light would not go off. So, I had to reset remote. Once I did that then rebind but quickly press throttle to set end point. Because every time I took my time it would not recognize that I'm pressing the throttle. Got to be quick once bind is complete to set those end points. Just something I thought should be shared.

You must be hella stupid 😅.. I have never owned an rc. I've never even held an rc like these. I bought a storage unit and there's 6 complete bundles with everything you could possibly need included along with all kinds of brand new extra upgrades etc. Point is, 7 hrs ago i was like you, a caveman 🤷🏻‍♂️... saw this video twice back to back and kapow!! Charged up 2 batteries at a time and Been speeding up and down the isles of the storage facility, hitting 60-70mph since I woke up. If you watched this video and actually listened ? Then you'd be having a blast like I have thanks to this man. 🍺 Find someone who can read and write and comprehend shit and have them explain it to you using crayons or something

Hi! You will need to reverse the steering via the switch on the transmitter, then rebind and recalibrate AVC. Then it should work propperly. hope that helps!

Yo THANK YOU for posting this video. I have now watched about 10 videos trying to get my losi lasernut to work. I couldn't figure it out. Eventually, i found this video, none of the other videos went over the remote settings, and that it had to be at 100 percent power, plus centered on other settings. I was stugging and ready to give us and return my purchase. Then i found this. 10 min later I'm back in business. Thank you!!!❤❤❤❤😅

@@SpektrumRCvideos Im good now it's the losi baha Rey 2.0 but for future customers who might never owned rc's or went from nitro like myself to electric it should state in the manual that it's ready and binded out of the box because I just followed the instructions and unbinded and lost full connection too the car itself. Thankfully the store I purchased it was more than willing to reset it and bind it for me so no issues now. But the manual is missing this important factor

Why won't the transmitter stayed bound to my receiver? I do all steps correctly and it works as long as I don't power off the transmitter once I turn off car it needs to rebound and calibrated each time...kind of hard to set my endpoints..I installed a new servo with 270 degree turn angle and it's killing the servo not being able to set endpoints. Someone please help

Hi Oakz, Which receiver is it? If it is one with a button on it sometimes debris or corrosion can cause the button to stick, making it go into bind mode every time it is powered on. Other then that it could be a damaged receiver. Does it do this with more than 1 receiver?

@@SpektrumRCvideos I would have to get back to u on the exact model of receiver but it is the stock one avs that.came with the 8s outcast I know it has the dx3 remote...I have the slt remote but never tried to bind with it it is possible there may be debris in it I could check but not to sure..ever since I took it out of the 8s and tried to use it in my 6s system I've had this problem..could that be an issue I broke some suspension parts on my 8s awhile back and I just got an exb I'm building so I was using the spare transmitter and receiver

New to rc, and just bought the infraction 3s, its my first arrma. These tutorials are great, I am going to try the bluetooth chip with my dx3 and smart battery. Watching these videos waiting for my delivery...lol thx so much.

So I am having trouble because my esc won’t turn on it just beeps and blinks red instead of turning on I tried to contact you guys but you never replied to my email

That indicates that the ESC is not receiving a Signal. Make sure your transmitter is on and the receiver is bound to the transmitter.

@@SpektrumRCvideos it is a rebound it about 27 times but every Couple days I don’t plug a battery into it it boots up and says it connects but then reboots and flashes

I have the spektrum dx5c and a spektrum 6110at i put the receiver in my trx4 and every time i turn it on it like the receiver goes into bind mode but it binds fine after any tips to fix that

If the receiver is always booting up into bind mode that is a good sign the button is stuck. Feel free to open the case and check for debris that could be keeping the button from moving propperly.
