It's HOT in Michigan! The temperature that is. Recently we've had record highs. In fact, my grass looks more like hay!
Normally, the last thing I would do in the height of summer is go fishing for hard to catch trout. But what is that I see in the weather forecast? A day of rain with cooler temps? That's the perfect kind of day for catching big Trout with spinners and crankbaits!
Spinner fishing for Trout in the Summer Time isn't for the faint of heart. In fact you probably shouldn't do it. It's very hard on the fish. Unless of course Mother Nature throws you a cool cloudy day. On those type of days, fishing for Trout in the Summer can be a day to remember. And, if you're lucky, you might find yourself catching big Brown Trout after big Brown Trout!
Let me know in the comments if you spend any of your Summer Time trout fishing.
Thank you for watching!
