Spring Snow Storm at the Off Grid Homestead: 10 new baby chicks, garden update, cooking

90% of the snow in our yard melted just for it to snow again. That's Minnesota weather for ya. It has been a great week at the homestead. Kyle and I have been planning all of our spring projects and are eager to get things rolling. Kyle started the firewood process for next years winter supply and getting logs to build a wood shed. Pretty soon it'll be time to start the outdoor garden and build a new chicken coop. Thanks for watching and don't forget to watch ‪@KYLESCABIN‬ latest video!

You can juice the lemons and freeze it. I have a lemon tree an do this so I can use the juice year round .

Just watched Kyles video; you both stay pretty busy and work so well together on keeping things going at the homestead. Really good to see you out and about after your knee surgery. Did notice though that you are very cautious as you are walking, especially in the snow; always a good idea to be a little on the cautious side.
