For our nesting boxes we have a bigger lip om the front but i also use the green grass mats from tractor aupply they are easy to clean mine are 4 years old and are still in good shape
Chickens are so big and love to see you coming Skeeter is so great around the chickens Great food you always make me hungry watching you cook Take care and see you in next video ❤❤❤❤❤
If you have the nest area raised up on the wall with no board in front of them they have to be either in them or out of them. With the board across the front it gives them a place to stand & scratch the straw out. In other words no board in front. They will still get in & out of the nest. Retired farmer experience!!😉😉
Try sticks and twigs in the nesting boxes, it helps to keep the hay bunched up so they don’t kick it out.. I thought about it one day when I saw a birds nest in a tree.. worst that can happen is it doesn’t work. Good luck!
I LOVE your videos, esp when you talk. It's great to see you cooking, esp making bread. Please keep the vids coming. Its so good to see you doing your daily yroutine. We miss you!
HI😊 It is good to enjoy a video from you again‼️👍Sure looked like a YUMMY lunch‼️ Are you still teaching dance? It was wonderful to see Skeeter too. I’m guessing you are keeping him away from the cabin build😊 That is such a cool egg stand‼️ Love the covers you are making‼️
Great video. Here comes some suggestions. Maybe wear rubber gloves while cooking with a bloody bandage. It was a little 🤢 it was hard to not notice the blood peeking through the bandaid on your left finger. Sorry not being a hater just.. a suggestion. As I do enjoy your videos. 😂😊
I’m no chick expert, but maybe nesting pads would work, or I’ve seen people cut squares of artificial grass, which they squirt off to clean periodically. Let me add- Skeeter is so good around the chickens!
I’ll be trying your bread recipe! I’m on my third loaf of sourdough and I’m ready to try a regular loaf like you did! Good to see you back, nice video!
Thanks for the link of the sourdough recipe. I will have to give it a try. But was thinking that being in Fl with the a/c on I may have to be more patient 🤔
Thanks for the video Cierra !!! I noticed in the background of the shot at 2:38 the small, short stumps in the yard. I found that a: "10" x 80 tooth carbide tip brush blade with universal adapter for a string trimmer" made quick work of cutting my stumps down flush with the ground. An inexpensive "Hyper Tough" 18-Inch, 26 CC Gas, Straight Shaft String Trimmer handled these blades just fine too.
