Stardew Valley is an open-ended country life RPG. That may sound boring but it is quite the opposite. We have inherited our grandfather's old farm plot in Stardew Valley and it's up to us to make something of ourselves! We'll take on tasks such as farming(of course!), fishing, cooking, exploring, and meeting the other residents of Stardew Valley along the way.
Armed with hand-me-down tools and a few coins, you set out to begin your new life. Can you learn to live off the land and turn these overgrown fields into a thriving home? It won’t be easy. Ever since Joja Corporation came to town, the old ways of life have all but disappeared. The community center, once the town’s most vibrant hub of activity, now lies in shambles. But the valley seems full of opportunity. With a little dedication, you might just be the one to restore Stardew Valley to greatness.

Since I didn't see you ever do this, you might not know about it. When you throw the fishing line out, while charging and right after you throw the line if you hold a direction like left or right when facing up, you will angle the fishing bobble slightly to that direction. Since landing as far away from the shore seems important perhaps try that because it will definitely let you get a square or two further away.

I commend you for not resetting your day on the 8th. If I forget something in my chest I almost always do. I'm really enjoying the videos as usual, thanks for uploading this series. It may have been more worthwhile to eat your soup earlier on the 7th (just barely) because Chad don't start spawning till 9am so you have a 1:3 for cats till 9am, then 1:4 during 9-6p. After 6p you start getting bream so you go down to 1:5 for cats. also imo having the bonus at a lower fishing level is more valuable as you will gain fishing level throughout the day, and fishing is generally Energy positive. The fishing wiki was updated with all the tile maps (not sure when) just search "Fishing Strategy" and they are all there. Checking the map you can use the shore on the far side of your fishing spot to be a little bit more efficient. I believe no NPCs path past the 7 tile wide strip southwest of Leah's so it should be safe for your chest. also, if the maps are accurate then a lot of our old corner fishing spots have been removed in a recent patch. /cry

@@cee__05 nope, I'm a bit of an armchair quarterback when it comes to the RU-vid side. I just have a lot of free time to check the wiki and watch the people who are innovating and then just share any info I have around. I've done several of these runs, but I find it more enjoyable to help people try to be better; actually pushing for results is really frustrating and stressful. :D

I try not to reset unless it's something really bad like dying in the mines, or one time I missed the spring festival cuz I lost track of time haha. Good point on the fish! I didn't even think about what hour of the day it was. Whoops.

Im play on Android n im doing the same thing with the watering n it work, but u must tap n hold on area, stand on the edge of your crops like showing on video, can anybody tell me how to turn the fishing rod line left or right while casting like on PC with ASWD(keyboard) but on Android?

Would've been cool if Beach farm got ocean fish, compared to Riverland farm having river fish. But oh well. Upd: Wait, it actually does! Pog! But apparently it's inefficient, womp-womp.

Pretty sure beach farm catches Ocean fish. it has a ton of trash, but I pulled a flounder when I checked.

It does! But sadly there's only a 50% chance for it to give you an ocean fish. So you'll get more trash than you would in the sea. It's a bit annoying. I really feel like the "fish" themed farms suffer greatly from this penalty. They should encourage you to fish on them, but really you should still just go to the normal spots...

I like to put crab pots all around the beach farm - it's a lot nicer than having to go to the actual beach for crab pots every day.

Yeah it's not super efficient sadly. There was ONE time that I caught a super cucumber on my farm but most of the time it's usually trash and low-value fish. It's nice for crab pots though, or if I just have a couple hours left in the day and I don't know what to do I'll just fish behind my house.

I use the ninetile watering technique on my mobile. The trick is to hit one of the middleside squares first.

Hi Foxy! I usually dont comment on RU-vid videos I watch. But I feel like I should on this one. I wish you did the mixed bundles. I feel like we all have seen the original bundles too many times Would have been a nice change! Also. Are you going to finish the playthrough? At least year 1? Thanks! Love your videos!

Thanks for taking the time to comment! I'm sorry I didn't do the mixed bundles. I figured I already had it challenging enough with the beach farm but I might as well have gone all the way huh. I guess on the bright side, I found the mixed bundles to be a little underwhelming anyway. A thing or two changed here and there but not a lot. Maybe that was just the roll I got in that game though, idk.

I'll still do some crops, just have to water them by hand mostly! I'm trying to upgrade my axe soon so I can clear out that one patch where I CAN put sprinklers. Then maybe...animals? Idk for sure. Making it up as I go! XD
