Stardew Valley is an open-ended country life RPG. That may sound boring but it is quite the opposite. We have inherited our grandfather's old farm plot in Stardew Valley and it's up to us to make something of ourselves! We'll take on tasks such as farming(of course!), fishing, cooking, exploring, and meeting the other residents of Stardew Valley along the way.
Armed with hand-me-down tools and a few coins, you set out to begin your new life. Can you learn to live off the land and turn these overgrown fields into a thriving home? It won’t be easy. Ever since Joja Corporation came to town, the old ways of life have all but disappeared. The community center, once the town’s most vibrant hub of activity, now lies in shambles. But the valley seems full of opportunity. With a little dedication, you might just be the one to restore Stardew Valley to greatness.

Your channel inspired me 2.5 years ago to put 500 hours into optimizing a run of stardew valley. Recently my gf got into the game and I looked at my old farm and thought of this chanel. Hope you are well, thankyou for all the help stranger!

Note: Caroline at 2 hearts (if you enter the room above her kitchen after getting there) will give you a recipe for a plant that grows fine on sandy beaches... no watering!!! Also, carefully check the extreme SW corner of your farm...

You do have a parsnip ready already, so you might be able to hold onto that gold one. As for strawberry count, I'm thinking up to 120, going 12x10. That way, if you choose to upgrade the watering can to steel, you can just change the way you water.

Ooo good idea about the plot size! And thanks for pointing out the parsnip, lord knows I needed it with missing the kale haha! I certainly HOPE to upgrade my watering can again - it all depends on whether or not I’ll get more rain. I feel like I’ve already been overly lucky with my amount of rain so it’s unlikely >.

Since it looks like you have an 8X9 area already hoed. 72-100 Strawberry seeds. Keep your watering needs about the same.

Good haul on your fish, too bad about the kale, you may have been able to scythe it down when you got back on the 12th, but I wouldn't buy more than 100 strawberries either way. definitely prioritize the backpack upgrade as well; you will be spending a lot of time on inventory management come lvl 40+ in the mines. I want to see you get 13+ eggs during the festival. ;) for the slingshot: you need one of the 2 of them for something during endgame, but only if you want to 100% but that's all I am going to say. you will also be able to purchase one from Marlon after you hit level 40 (500g) so not picking it up is no issue. Also people have started using the slingshot in SC: the explosive ammo has a bit of a learning curve, but you can craft it with combat level and its faster than bombs.

Yeah I suppose I could have harvested the kale and threw it in my bin huh. Whoops. Oh well. Yeah, like everyone agrees, I shouldn't buy more than 100 strawberries anyway. :) I don't think I've ever gotten more than 11 eggs so you're in for a disappointment. :P

Haha well, to be fair I did that intentionally. I usually leave my sword at the mines because it frees up an inventory space. I just wasn’t thinking about the possibility of boxes spawning on my farm. :)

The slingshot will be needed for something later on in the game. Doesnt matter which slingshot. I do enjoy what you are doing on the beach farm. For me i try to go the artisan playstyle because of the very low farm land for sprinklers. The part where you can have sprinklers for me is better used for multiple harvest crops.
