Stardew Valley is an open-ended country life RPG. That may sound boring but it is quite the opposite. We have inherited our grandfather's old farm plot in Stardew Valley and it's up to us to make something of ourselves! We'll take on tasks such as farming(of course!), fishing, cooking, exploring, and meeting the other residents of Stardew Valley along the way.
Armed with hand-me-down tools and a few coins, you set out to begin your new life. Can you learn to live off the land and turn these overgrown fields into a thriving home? It won’t be easy. Ever since Joja Corporation came to town, the old ways of life have all but disappeared. The community center, once the town’s most vibrant hub of activity, now lies in shambles. But the valley seems full of opportunity. With a little dedication, you might just be the one to restore Stardew Valley to greatness.

I have to agree with you on the taking things casual, I had started a new file for streaming, and I followed your guide for spring, then kind of winged it for summer and fall, and when winter came, i realized i was super close to earning a million within my first year and i hadn't even been aiming for that goal. It's nice to earn a lot in this game, but also this game is super chill. It's nice not to stress about hitting certain landmarks and restarting if you don't.

I have been watching RU-vid for quite a long time. I just started watching your content. Your results may vary of course depending on your audience and the state of the RU-vid algorithm at the moment, but something to keep in mind is that one off videos about different games seem to perform better numbers-wise than long let's play series. Having an easy to remember and appealing channel name, such as your own, is certainly a boon though. Thanks for reading this unsolicited advice, and I wish you good luck with this chaotic platform.

This guide is totally like how I play, get to summer or sometimes autumn and then take a hiatus, forget where I am and don't play that save again! :D anyway, sad your content is on hiatus as I just found you and think your stuff is great :)

Howdy Foxy, WELCOME BACK! So glad to hear you are doing well with your new job and they aren't slave driving. Here are a couple things I saw in the vid: I really hope you put your 5 gold parsnips in before you sold all of them for the melon seeds. I cant remember if you did already :( you can toss stone tiles below your sprinklers to keep them from being hoed up. (I'm sure you know, just a reminder) If you are fishing in the summer just stay at the ocean: in the morning you get Octopus for an average of 217 per cast, and then Puffers during the day at an average of 267 per cast, which are better than the lake for Sturgeon at 195 per cast. the lake suffers from too many trash fish (Carp, chub) bringing the average catch down. you can only catch Catfish during summer in the secret woods pond, they aren't in the river like spring, so they average 228 per cast, however puffers wont show up in the rain, so its the best spot to rain fish till 7pm when the trash fish in the ocean stop biting. The real sleeper spot here is the desert: with gold scorpion carp worth 337 it works out to 252 per cast during the day, however I always feel like the desert has a lower than average bite rate, so it likely will not out-perform Catfish or Puffers. keep up the great work, I have missed your videos. take care not to burn out :D

Thanks for your concern about my gold parsnips! I actually stopped at the last second and saved 5 of them to return back to my chest. Or at least I think I did... Yeah I realize I kinda biffed the fishing stats. I’ll have to correct that next video. You’re funny if you think I can catch octopus without a cork bobber and fishing food though. :P But yeah, even though I’ll catch some annoying cheap fish in the ocean, there’s still stuff like tuna and pufferfish during the day. Thanks for your kind words. My job is going well and I miss doing YT as much but at least my feet are back on the ground. Cheers!

@@FoxyFernGaming I always enough spare cash floating around by the time I think about fishing in the summer that I pick up the iridium rod and tackle the day I head down to the ocean to fish; so I guess I never thought of how difficult they are to catch. my most recent run is in the animal product phase of the CC in fall, and its really limiting my motivation. I'm thinking its going to be time to start another spring push soon :D

hi there i just found you and have been quietly binging everything & just wanna say you're my fave rn (was literally shocked that you didn't have like, six digit subs) and congrats on the new job!!! it's great that they're not demolishing you thus far. (make sure you don't take shit from anyone, animators are so often thrown to the wayside & put through the ringer, as I'm sure you know). i only discovered stardew like, a month ago and already have like 180 hours on just my main farm but have started a sdv expanded file & a riverland in the meantime (that's full fricken challenge mode... it was a mistake). i still feel like i know jackshit about it. I've been in the dark youtube hole watching videos from like, 2016 when this game was the big thing (and Undertale, which I also just discovered, rip) but anyway, thanks for making this series, it's super helpful and giving my fix for MORE of this stupid game once i get too frustrated dying from those stupid flying green demons in skull cavern. much love!!!
