I agree with JJ. When Mavs were attacking Ayton, the Suns did not lift him up and give him confidence on the offensive end.

When my Clippers blew a 3-1 lead in 2015, we were a 3rd seed. That Game 7 was in Houston. The bubble year did not have homecourt advantage for any team. What the Suns did was more stunning than any NBA loss I've seen.

The problem is Ayton plays and functions similar to a 90's center, and is playing on an outside in offense. As long as he's in that system he'll be limited in anything and everything offensively, so for him to make bank in his situation he's gonna need to most likely be a top shelf rebounder and shot blocker. If he's unhappy and i'm the Grizzlies I might inquire about Ayton, Memphis has 3 1st rounders I believe and they have depth, now they need to start fine tuning the roster, Many guys were up and down with consistency issues in the playoffs and I feel Clarke is straight up better than Jaren.

The Mavs pretty much figured out how to defend Chris Paul since game 3. That was the key to victory. CP3 could not do anything against the Mavs defense after game 2.

It’s crazy for me to say but I agree with all three of them. Valid point across. Teams are looking not pay everyone, as a big as talented as Ayton he could and should make his impact without the ball yet not every player can produce when the ball isn’t in there hands.

The only silver lining I can get out of it even though I expect my bets to all be dead once the Warriors lose to the Mavs is it bodes well for my Clippers next year. Need to stay healthy. But if we can, I can see us top 3 next to GS and Dallas.
