If luka ends the season with a stat line of 34/10/9 and doesn’t win the mvp it’s going to criminal. That stat line has never been done before in nba history. Luka is generating the most points from assists and scoring in nba history. Luka had the most efficient high scoring game in history. He obliterated the consecutive 35+ triple double record. The bar is so high for luka it’s ridiculous. They said he needs more wins and not to be a play in which he has and they move the goalposts further. At this point they are just conspiring not to give it to him. Years down the line peopl are going to look back at this season and think how stupid we were not to crown this man if he doesn’t win mvp.

If Luka doesn't win this year, I don't think there's anything Luka can do to win MVP anymore. Anyone who has watched the Mavs this year knows the early year team inconsistency was based on injuries. When they're healthy, they've been a great team. 45 wins in the West is more impressive than 44 wins in the East, sorry. If Luka's numbers aren't good enough, you're basically asking him to do the impossible and get even BETTER the next year. That's basically asking the impossible.

Luka is the easiest MVP we’ve ever had tbh. His numbers blow everyone out of the water and his team success is only hampered by the fact that he has had 4x more rotation players miss games due to injury that any other candidate. Not to mention being the best clutch player to go along with MVP moments on top of moments. But Steven is racist so his vision gets blurry. Your on-off impact stats are completely misleading, Jokic predominantly plays with the best nugget players during his minutes while Luka plays with everyone dynamically which is going to inflate Jokic's stats. Advanced metrics without context are meaningless. the most common 5 man line up with Jokic has 895 mins played together, for Luka it's 123 minutes. Luka has better total numbers, doesn't inflate his advanced metrics through cherry picked line ups and is currently finishing the season on an amazing run. I like Jokic but Luka deserves MVP over Jokic.

Anyone with a vote shouldn’t be allowed to either say they have a vote or use it for content on any of their platforms or they should lose it immediately. They could only say they have a vote if they then say “I can’t comment on mvp or any award” as to not sway any other voter.
I don't like at all the on-off impacts metrics. The don't put a lot of things in to context like team specific rotation. Jokic rarely plays with the bench guys, its usually jamal murray and four bench players. Logicaly jokic on-of metrics are going to be great. With luka is diferent, as there are streches of games where he is playing with two or three bench guys. Most use lineup for denver has played over 800 min this season meanwhile most use lineup for dallas has not even reach 200 min. Not taking anything from the joker. He should habe won it last season amd this season he is still my first pick, but if dallas finished the season really strong and get to the 4 seed id give to luka.

I don't know what it is but I would say the vast majority of the times Luka plays against another star player - they don't show up the same as they normally do.
Stephen a smith is a knicks fan this is why reporters should not get a vote they are biased. They grew up with a team so they could have childhood biases, they follow the sport and rub shoulders with the players (romantic or charmed biases), and lastly their job is directly influenced by fan bases money(political or money biases). It should be the fans (20%), coaches(40%) and players(40%) or 10, 40, 50.

I am not a SAS fan, but he made a mistake saying SGA led in assists, he was corrected by Shannon, and said what he intended to say: SGA leads NBA in steals. It is one thing to criticize his arguments, but it is petty pointing out honest mistakes.
