Steve Holloway's 1977 Mugen CR125 Honda Elsinore 

I started racing MX at about six on a Hodaka Super Rat. I eventually made it to 250 expert class on a 76, 77, 78, 79 and 80 KX250. I was raised on a huge ranch/farm and dad could make me track anytime with all the equipment we had. In the winter we would put dirt in the very large potato sheds and make a track that wove through three of them. Just cracked the doors on each end to get through and into the next. I did race a buddies RM125 in a moto and there were a few of the 125 Elsinores. Too many bikes at one time on the track for me…stuck with 250. I really love the old bikes that you have on your channel. 👍🤙🤙🤙

I still have my 1977 Honda CR-125 , but it it 4 stroke powered. It has a 1971 Honda SL-125 motor that has been bored and stroked to 160 cc' by Powroll ported head hot cam and 24 mm Mikuni off from a YX-80 Yamaha GYT Kit engine . good thing my gas tank was steel because I had to cut some out of the bottom to clear the 4 stroke head and added some on the top for more capacity ,
