Lebron also has almost twice the assists so he was a far better passer. He scored more and passed more, and was more clutch. There’s no reason to take Kobe over him other than person bias.

There’s no a single modern day player in the league right now who could’ve came out of HS and dominated in the NBA without College.. look at majority of not all these guys rn it took them a year or two in college PLUS a few years in the NBA before they even hit their “peak” and still aren’t even on par with someone like LeBron. Where guys in the league are at now at 23, 25, 27, 30, etc LeBron was that and more at 16-18 years old in HS.

"you like scoring" ---- someone needs to tell Shannon that the points scored determine W/L at the end of games, they don't count triple doubles or assists or rebounds. hence scoring affects the game DIRECTLY, where as rebounds/assists affect the game indirectly, and triple doubles as Westbrook , harden, and jokic have shown, anyone can get them if they have the ball in their hands and unlimited touches to shoot/pass/etc. BTW MJ only avg 5.5 assists in his career, lebron is like what, 7? so what are we talking about？

I be telling people that 😂 all things in basketball exist around putting the ball in the basket. It’s the most important thing to do. It’s the only way you can win the game is by having more points. Not more assists, steals, rebounds, less turnovers. Just more points

Bruh it all impacts the game directly. Assists get your teammates involved and opens up the floor. Rebounding prevents second chance points from the opponent. You can’t win a game in the NBA where you score all the points and your teammates score 0. It’s a team game at the end of the day. Role players win you games especially in the playoffs

The answer is there: Kobe is relentless and Kobe is a killer. That's why you can compare MJ and Kobe. LeBron doesn't play hard every night and doesn't always play defense. But LeBron has the longevity and scoring record. MJ and Kobe played everyone and wanted it. They wanted to play every night because someone in the stand may only see them that night. Not like today's players.
