When this man left the stage each night, there was nothing left. It was all spilled out on the floor. There never was, and never will be, another like him.
This night at the El Macambo was one for the ages...so glad it was caught on tape for posterity and the history of the electric guitar... Stevie and double trouble we're in fine form on this night...just mind boggling... thanks for all the love you passed our way Stevie....🎸🎸🎸
I think that man had one of the greatest gigs a drummer could ask for. All he had to do was keep time and sit back and let Stevie do his thing but he managed to bring a level of taste and class that more than earns his spot in the band.
100%! 👍🎸💥 Blues guitarists = my fave music. My #1: Jimi H & Jimmy P... til I heard Stevie Ray. And live? Omg, the guitar was created for that man♡ RIP SRV
Loved to have seen him live found on you youtube not long ago, hooked bad. NEVER SAW ANY ONE THAT COULD PLAY AND SING THE WAY STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN DID AND DOUBLE TROUBLE GAVE IT UP AS GOOD AS THEY DID.🤠🤠🤠
I'm almost 80 and SRV's intensity in everything you see and hear is scary-intense. I spent months doing 1000 reps of little licks and cain't git close !
Was driving through the Walmart parking lot with my windows down playing SRV and a guy (with his wife and kids) drops to his knees with his arms in the air and fists balled and yells: "OH MY GOD!!! SOMEBODY'S PLAYING STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
I never perceived it as losing it; I think he deliberately dropped it because the kind of action he was about to employ with his picking hand was done easier without a pick. 🤷♂️
I read that guitar was in very bad shape when Stevie bought it and it was completely overhauled. The only thing original is the body of the instrument. Number 1 it's called!
Wiblet who wants to top anyone. I am a guitar player and truly if my skills could ever surpass this mans and I still would listen and jam his music everyday. There is ONLY ONE LIL STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN. Its not a match, its music.
Well now tell me, what in the world can be wrong I said tell me, what in the world can be wrong Woke up this mornin', trouble knockin' at my door I wonder what's the trouble, great big troubles at my door I wonder what's the trouble, great big troubles at my door Yes I'm goin' up to Macon, don't want to be here no more I'd better forget it, let this trouble pass I'd better forget it, let this trouble pass Yes I wonder sometime, how long my trouble gonna last I said goodbye, goodbye baby got to go I said goodbye, goodbye baby got to go I ain't hangin' 'round here, worrying where there's trouble no more Trouble is knockin', trouble is knockin' Trouble is knockin', trouble is knockin' Trouble is knockin', can't be where it's at no more
I’m 21 I was born in the wrong era music these days doesn’t match the heart and soul that people used to put in back then, he feels every single note, he feels every single word and that’s why we love Stevie, because we can feel his anger pain happiness and heart all through his pure perfection of a musician! Somebody bring me a time machine what I’d give to see him live. God bless the lucky god save the unfortunate and uneducated
Not really much anger in his soul dude.. probably angriest me one made him was Bowie trying to invalidate his pure 3 way deal he had going on with double trouble.. u don't get world's best plank spanker on ya album agree nights off he will be playing and promoting their own material " in step" then pretend nah mate nothing of the sort.. Ur band earn jack shite whilst u your world with me for £500 a week. Bowie!! wot a. C u next Tues .. although thanks for speeding up his noteriety.. shame ,. Massive shame his higher power had been found, loved Nd Janna should of married him quick.. imagine the invalidation she must of felt from jimmie.. Stevie wouldn't go to re hab till she was on the correct side of the world and able to fly across the Atlantic with him coz without her he 100% couldn't of just had that ONLY 1 SHOT ON PLANE FOR HIS NERVES. KISSED HIM GOODBYE ND TOLD HIM IF YOU LOVE ME AND LIFE STEVIE DONT LEAVE UNTILL YOU ARE BETTER.. SO TRAGIC HE FOUND A LOVE WITH HIS 12 STEPS. ,. I won't work the steps to get clean but I will have my higher power in my guitar and blues music to help me recover .. check out Texas flood the real story of a Texas blues musician.. amazing audio book.. be prepared to pause it to explore all the great music that is spoke about in the book ,xx
Discovered SRV whilst doing a stint for possesion and supply long time ago back in 1984, and every Friday night there was a blues and rock channel on the radio and I suddenly sat bolt-up and thought, " who the hell is this.?" Marvelous. About the same time I discovered Steve Vai as well and just recently I've discovered an incredable little guy with unbelievable talent called TAJ FARRENT from Australia. Does a great take on SRV, all the great blues guys, Jimmy Hendricks but absolutely loves Gary Moore....and he's only 11yrs old. He is the future..!! I KID YOU NOT. But if it wasn't for the greats like SRV, there wouldn't be a template. RIP SRV. Tragic loss.
TALENTED BEYOND REASONING. PLAYING THE BLUES, SINGING @ GUITAR PLAYING EVER IN THE WORLD, NEVER BE ANOTHER STEVIE RAY VAUGHN EVER. LOVED HIS STYLE OF JAMMING HOT ON HIS GUITARS AND HIS VOICE OUT OF THIS WORLD. GONE TO SOON. 😢😥
I just love the pure, harsh and rough guitar sound he produces, it sounds so mean and badass. The solo in this song is so powerful, it sounds like a ton of bricks is about to be dropped on you continuously
Im happy watching this and at the same time sad cause Stevie left us so early. Grateful living here cause i can say that i saw him performing once, in Oulu/Kuusrock.🇫🇮
Well now tell me, what in the world can be wrong I said tell me, what in the world can be wrong Woke up this mornin', trouble knockin' at my door I'd better forget it, let this trouble pass I'd better forget it, let this trouble pass Well I wonder sometimes, how long my trouble gonna last All night long, somebody knockin' at my door All night long, somebody knockin' at my door As for the moment that we're makin', trouble won't be here no more Well now goodbye, goodbye baby got to go I said goodbye, goodbye baby got to go I ain't hangin' 'round here, worrying where there's trouble no more Trouble is knockin', trouble is knockin' Trouble is knockin', trouble is knockin' Trouble is knockin', can't be where it at no more

Another one of Stevie Ray Vaughans legend songs..That guitar is talking and sounds so sweet...Stevie always gives everyone a terrific performance and Stevie just acted naturally..down to earth with everyone..RIP
i know its like who thought that was okay in blues but alright it works!!!! some weirdo out there jimi chords or something dont know where that came from LOL!!!
From 1:34 to 1:52 we see a thing guys, and that is called feeling... Nobody can teach and nobody will ever learn, beacause to do that we need one thing only, feeling! 😂😂😂
Srv plays guitar like a drummer who went to the crossroads and made a deal. His approach cadence and rhythm is alot like a percussionist let alone his power of attack and rakes.
If you give Stevie a thumbs down, it’s clear you know nothing about greatness. One of the best to ever pick up a guitar. But I guess you guys are better on Guitar Hero 🤣

I always wondered what a guitar God is..I have known since i first heard SRV! If God wanted there to be a God of any instrument..Stevie Ray Vaughan is the absolute God of the Strat! IMHO the BEST guitarist ever!
