Thankful to see your recent videos. I have missed you! My mom passed February 1st. We spent December trying to figure out what was wrong. Sent all of January in the hospital. God answered my prayers in not letting her suffer here on earth but instead let her be Home with Him and receive her healing. I struggle in missing her daily. When someone you love and take care of is no longer here there is a huge void. Learning to completely lean on the Lord. Sorry to go on but I know you are a prayer warrior and appreciate that. ❤ Thanks for all you do always. Blessings to you specifically for healing and to your family.

Such a blessing to find this video. Last week my husband’s grandfather passed away in another country and He wasn’t able to go to the funeral. He has been heartbroken but, by my husband being here he was able to buy the casket for his grandfather and help with other expenses that he wouldn’t have been able to do if he was there.

Last year when my brother passed away, I kept hearing the word, HOPE. There was even a billboard while I was leaving the hospital that said, "HOLD ON TO HOPE"

I feel led to speak to you today. My Sister in Christ, I was so grateful to see a video again from you. I do not normally comment on anything, believing i have no time with being a busy homeschooling momma like yourself but i believe God wants me to tell you how your work in Him through your videos has encouraged me greatly. As the number of children have grown the housework has become harder and through the struggle of feeling like not enough God has revealed to me my self reliance and the mental baggage I needed to pull out from under the rug and face. During this hard time of struggle, that I was communicating with my husband about, he ran across your videos 💓 and sent one to me saying he thought it might really encourage and help me. I dove in one after the next crying, angry at our enemy and grateful to God for the struggle, revealing this work that needed to happen in me and also just in release at hearing the truth from a sister who understands. I appreciate so much how lovingly yet uncompromisingly you speak the truth. Thank you and I pray God's blessings and protection on you and most importantly His love continue to fill you more and more

Dear God, please continue to hold my sister and her family tight. You know what she had been thru. Sit her in your lap and hug her tight. She's trusting You Father. We praise You now for the victory to come. Amen.

Third trimester with baby #6, got shingles, living with family, and husband struggling with depression and anxiety. January felt like it took an entire year to get through, and February isn't shaping up to be much better. The Lord promises not to waste our suffering, I pray that rings true because we've certainly faced a lot of it for it to be in vain. Praying for grace to make it through the next day, and hope for what comes next, even if it's another heavy blow.

Hello Tabitha!!! This video was such a encouragement to me!! I've been in a stormy situation for a while. No one knows but Jesus. I see and feel things changing through much prayer and fasting. It's not easy traveling through the storm but God shows you yourself and talks to you in that still small voice. The days seem long and there's lots of sleepless nights til you weather the storm. This is the first time that I have run across your channel. My family is going through quite a bit right now. We are facing a situation that could have some pretty devastating results. However, I do know that suffering is not a surprise to our Lord. I know that He has control, even if it goes very badly for us. Is it difficult to hold your head up at times?Yes. Do you sometimes find that you are staring off into space when you really should be in prayer? Yes. This is not the first time that we have experienced a severe trial that could result in a great loss. The last one cost us a great deal. We are not a young couple. We are 60, and sometimes I feel that I faced them stronger when I was a little younger. However, the Lord has reminded me, frequently here lately, that when I am weak He is strong. It is His strength that will carry us through. I needed to be a little weaker this time to be reminded not to do it in my own strength. Would I have chosen this road had I been given a choice? Ah no, but then I would not learn whatever it is that the Lord has for me to learn this time around. Too often you have people in your life that say, "Oh that will never happen. God won't allow that to happen. That is not His way." I wish they would not. God very well might take us to a place that the world would say is the worst of the worst, but He will be there with us. Our responsibility is to hold on to Him, and strive to bring Him the glory and the honor. Is it easy? Ah no. I need to spend more time in His Word and in prayer to be sure that I am doing the best that I can to see Him in the coming days. Bless you for your post. It is needed. Too many out there tell us we won't suffer. Too many say that everything will smooth out. We are promised suffering. We just need to have a right attitude and response. May we focus on bringing Him glory and honor.

Thank you for being an obedient daughter of Jesus and for being transparent. This is exactly what I need to hear right now. It's so easy during our trials to blame God instead of thanking Him. You have reminded me of this and His promise to never leave us nor forsake us. Praying for your family.

Prayer sent for you. I know more than a little bit about suffering. God has always helped me through. He will you too. There is an additional reason for suffering. To gain empathy for those who suffer what you did so that you can be with them.

I stressed over suffering for a few years now. It took its toll on my faith and I was at times going through the motions but so protective of my heart and not investing in growing spiritually like I should have. I’m using this year to be one of discipline and joy: discipline in my goals and duties, taking care of my mental, physical and spiritual health and choosing an attitude of gods joy regardless of whether things outside of my control are going well or not. It’s a comfort to see content like this to know I’m not alone in the struggles of life and it is uplifting and supportive. Thank you for all your content ❤

Over the decades my attitude towards suffering has changed. We suffer because we expected things to be different. Yes, God allows this as we have free will, but you don't have to suffer. Your points were spot on if we ''choose to suffer''. 1 Thess. 5:18 is there for our help.

Thank you so much for these true and wise and comforting words. It is so true what you said. I lost my son in 2021 - and if I look back, I just know my relationship with God would not be so strong as it is now- has it not happened. I learned to seek God's will and love in these 3 years and I came to the conclusion that God is Sovereign- and nothing will happen to us if it is not in His divine Will. We can only trust His love and plan for us..

Amen! May the Lord keep giving you boldness to share His word in love (as you already do). Throughout your mama faith videos, there has been some advice you give that have made me think, "Oh wow, i can't believe she just said that/put that out there." Don't get me wrong, I completely agree 100% with what you're saying and am happy to know we have the same convictions before the Lord. But I think, "Wow, that was very direct and strong for others to hear." It has made me realize that I do not like to make people uncomfortable with the truth. But when we see Christ's example here on earth, He lovingly but directly spoke the truth no matter how uncomfortable it made others. In conclusion, your videos have made me very aware that I need to stop worrying about how others are going to feel (as long as I'm not saying it rudely or in anger, of course) and say the word or advice freely and in faith. Thank you for your example. May the Lord keep using you for His glory and honor!

I have been mourning a living mother who is cruel to me but, who I still love for 13 years. I do not know what decision to make regarding her role in my life. I want release during this time of silent suffering. In these 13years God has made me the mother of many children. God is good all of the time.

My son was born sleeping January 4th It was a difficult time but absolutely the Lord led me through. Praise his name.

I love listening to and watching your videos! I believe they are needed today! "... For this reason Jesus was able to bear the punishment in our place, and this punishment was sufficient to erase all our sins (Isaiah 53:5-6, Isaiah 53:10-11, John 3:16)." He took the penalty of our sin and those sins done to us. He suffered in our place. I'm so thankful for the Lord and HIS word and work on the Cross to take the curse, the penalty of sin, bring comfort and healing in our wounds and bring us peace. IS 53 says He took our pain, sorrow, grief and sickneses upon Himself so we could live in Joy, Peace, Love and more fruit of the Spirit and in Abundant life. Is that void of suffering? He can create good out of what the enemy meant for harm. He also said we would have tribulation but to know HE overcame and He has won the Victory and given that to us in all things so we can bring the sweet fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere! 2 Cor 2:14 Just keep giving Him all the heavy things He knows we cannot carry but He did! Thank you for touching on the subject.

Though I disagree theologically that God punishes us for a sin (He punished Jesus on the cross for that) I agree with the other reasons. Refinement, strength through Him and faith building seem to be what I have gained through my hardships.

When you said punishment as a reason did you mean like consequence?

I don’t think it’s quite right to state that God brings suffering as a punishment for our sins, but rather he allows us to experience the consequences of our sins. He is a just God, but something about using the word punishment doesn’t sit right with me. But maybe its just me? ❤
