I started spirilina and chlorella and people have commented on how good my skin is. Honestly it wasn't really bad before, but I can see the difference. Less blotchyness.
I just wanted to tell you how disappointed I was in Thrive. After your last video, I decided to check it out. It asked what I would use for payment (?) I hadn’t even looked at the products yet. I scrolled down maybe 4 items then thought I wasn’t interested and went off the site. A couple of days later I was on my bank site and I saw a charge for $59?? I never authorized a purchase, so called and indeed, they had charged my account. They said you can’t view their site without paying. I told the representative I went on your site because of you, and she informed me you are a partner in Thrive. The whole thing left a very bad taste in my mouth.
Yeah I had the same thing happened l never go to there site or would never order from them again They will rip you off. Yep sneaky how they do business read the tiny writing. This is how they hide what they do
That is the main reason I have not bought anything from Thrive. If Thomas if going to promote these guys he needs to be careful what he promoting. Of course he gets paid so there's that. Not condemning him for getting paid however. I understand that.
🎉 wheat grass powder gives me the same IBS issues as all the other grains. I think this is so important to weigh up if you have gluten sensitivity or other gut issues like fodmap issues too. In all honesty, personally, with wheat and barley grass I’d be better off eating an onion 🧅😂 and I’m low fodmap. This stuff makes me look 2 years pregnant 🤰🏻🤣
Take spinach, grate some lemon rind, flax seeds and eg almond milk add to blender/vita mix. Drink and eat with wild blueberries (lower blood sugar spike if eaten, not blended).
Loved this! Been eating spirulina for decades, and seaweed too,, believe in eating REAL food, especially vegetables raw, if possible. No one ever SAYS THAT! YOU ROCK...
I think one reason why companies may add some fruit powders to their "super powder" blends is to try and make them - or at least sound as if it makes them - taste a lot better/sweeter than if they didn't have them. Since fruit is much better/sweeter tasting in general than vegetables, or the other ingredients usually found in greens powders. The same way that adding fruits - banana, berries, etc make a vegetable smoothie taste a LOT BETTER, and SWEETER.
An important note about chlorella specifically, if it’s grown in the right conditions (direct sun exposure) its practically the only natural vegan source of vitamin B 12 which is a common deficiency in the vegan diet.
what is your opinion on the vitamin b12s that exist in spirulina but in the form of analogues? is it true that they could actually make us become deficient in vitamin b12? thank u
@thomas Ashwagandha, should we take the supplement with KSM66 type? Your comment on the relationship to glucose, I was monitoring my blood sugar with a real-time monitor and starting taking Ashwagandha and noticed by Blood Sugar didn't spike as much after a particular breakfast I would eat. My diet was pretty much the same day to day at that time. Interesting stuff.
Are these algae powder safe to the liver? I read those stories about the toxicity of green tea supplements and scared the hell out of me even though it's a different substance and concentration.
CAUTION! Do not take ashwaghanda over an extended period of time. It downregulates the GABA receptors rather quickly. If you’re going to use it, use it during particular stressful periods.
mmh i take ashw. for long periods. ashw can mimic gaba A and gaba b so its like a mini gaba. also ashw can "Enhancing GABA receptors and serotonin in the brain, ashwagandha appears to change the configuration of neuron receptors, enabling GABA molecules to connect easier. This inhibits the signals caused by stress helping relieve anxious feelings. Ashwagandha roots also contain tryptophan, the precursor to serotonin.
@@budojon agonizing the GABA receptors over a longer period of time is not what you want to do. Trust me. And if you don’t, go do your research on how receptors downregulate.
@@budojon Ashwagandha - is a medicine , is not supposed to be taken as a dietary supplement. Taken too long it will make you stoic first and depressed later
Seaweed snacks are quite tasty, anyway. Those green shakes are all gross. I could never stomach any of them. For nitrates, I like hibiscus tea. I get aswagandha in capsule form and in coffee with functional mushrooms. If I ate salads, I'd probably try broccoli sprouts.
@@brianlexl1215if you like it, do it. If it makes you feel good, do it. I don't see how juice even though you don't have fiber and it could be bad for you. You're overthinking it
The inflation it might be the only options since vegetables just like every other product out there good or bad for your health prices are going up. If nothing changes we will have to buy whatever to survive.
(edit) *gogee mayne* got an aight channel *kava roor* also anutha calma apple ranked #2 on da *Saettigung Lebensmittel* scale *broccoli sproutz* - it called a jar, seedz, & sum wata
"we're not REALLY designed to break down grass" You'd think that would be obvious to people since we're not cows, but I guess that needed to be said 😂 (oh wait, people are still drinking milk 😅)
Eat whole, unprocessed foods…period. Ya, buy whole foods and cook them, but don’t waste your money on these ridiculous “superfood” powders. They’re a joke. The benefits from foods come from the entire food, not synthesized bits of it.
@@jeremymerry7967 OMG i am not saying there is no benefit to them, i am just saying that people shouldn't consume it everyday unless they have health issues.
Bad advice overall here. I have sensitivities to everything mentioned here besides the broccoli. If your blood type is O, just skip this video! Also, thought it was Thomas himself who said avoid sea veggies unless you have lived in Japan. goji and ashwaganda are nightshades beets are high carb and they just tear my stomach up Also, Thrive market is trash!
