Strawberry Cobbler - Hard Times Recipe - 100-Year-Old Recipe - Easy Dessert - No Eggs.
Strawberry cobbler is yet another struggle food masterpiece. Just because times are tough it doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy good food. Sweet strawberries in a familiar cobbler dessert with the fruit in syrup and the soft cake with the slightly crunchy top is impossible to resist and hard to beat. This is a recipe that you really must try.
With ingredients in your pantry and in season fruit this recipe is doable even with shortages and empty shelves.
You can enjoy strawberry cobbler warm or cold, all by it’s self or topped with vanilla ice cream.
This is the perfect dessert for just about any occasion. Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, cook outs, fancy dinners, or dessert and coffee on the porch it doesn’t matter, it’s always good.

¾ cup Milk
½ cup + 2 tablespoons Butter, divided
½ cup + ¼ cup Sugar, divided
¾ cup Self-Rising Flour

Love your channel! Such great recipes and simple plain instructions. I watched this young man's story and I ordered 5 bottles. We give donations for our grown children instead of gifts because they can afford a very comfortable life. By the way the apples were given to me by my friend who has a food ministry here in town and she does go to second harvest to pick up foods. And I will be looking into buying the vanilla from the young man. What a blessing and for sure God will bless him back.

Growing up my grandpa grew strawberries to sell I made my first dollar picking strawberries for a nickel a cup the cup were quart size cups Anyway grandma would can them what grandpa couldn't sell she made a lot of Cobblers and put them in snow cream its a wonder we didn't die no telling what was in the air as the snow came down wouldn't do it now Thank you for helping me remember all the wonderful memories that's been over sixty years ago

RU-vid sent me one of your videos about 7 weeks ago. I haven't been able to stop watching your great videos. Picking up some cooking tips and learning some wonderful new old ways of making a number of meals and desserts. Plus, being a Christian and doing God's work, it is awesome to watch you as you share and spread HIS word. I am really blessed. I know things from God and my Guardian Angel, that I have no human right to know. And like you, I share HIS word with other's. HE is my boss, I work for HIM and do whatever HE tells me to do. As one example, I walk up to total stranger's to tell them the answer, they have been praying about. I acknowledge, I can sound very crazy. As for myself, it was 9 year's, 6 month's, 2 week's and 3 day's for me to get my answer. Only difference, it wasn't from someone like myself, who works for God. I got my answer directly from my Guardian Angel and God. Please don't ever stop what you are doing. Plus, I enjoy reading what you have posted in the background of your video's too. And I fully agree with everything you have posted/shown in the background of your videos. May God bless you and your family.

we use our stick blender for everything.. salad dressings right in the measuring cup, soups right in the pot, mashed potatoes right in the pot, melted chocolate and whip cream.. all kinds of stuff. they are so handy. The one we have twists into two pieces so you can wash the blades without worrying about getting the rest wet. they are cheap to buy and worth every penny. great recipe also.
