2:40 I have a coworker like that!💀 She even told me a lie that was supposedly going around about me, but when I asked her who was saying that, she wouldn’t tell me and just said, “A few people have been talking about that actually.” Then she condescendingly told me not to tell anyone she told me. Which made me think she probably made the whole thing up just to make me feel paranoid and embarrassed.
SO Passive Aggressive. I hate that. And they always act like ‘some group’ is talking about you, they do it on purpose to make us feel bad and it’s their way of saying, well it must be true of other people are talking about it too. 🤷🏻♀️
Thanks Laura. I had a very mean supervisor at my last job who would pick relentlessly on certain employees. It's as if they had a target on their foreheads. The morale improved markedly when she went on holidays. For me it was setting big boundaries and steering clear of her and her "harem". Just doing my job and taking as much leave as I was due until I retired.
Bravo! Mean bosses are the absolute worst! I had one like that a few years ago, and he made the work place a living hell by raging at us, yelling, gaslighting, and lying about different coworkers to each other & trying to turn people against each other.
Funny this popped up on my feed, but I worked with a mean girl & her husband & their friend and the friends dad was the boss. Talk about daily stress filled days, constantly walking on eggshells always watching what I say as to not set myself up for problems. I finally had to quit, the stress was manifesting as physical health issues.
