Patricia Hurt I recently purchased (well, hubby purchased) a 4 foot ruler just for that. It has made a real difference in keeping my strips straight. Who’d thought? Lol

Dear Donna, I love most all of your quilts! And, even though I’ve been quilting for 35 years, I am learning so much from your tutorials. In fact, I’ve gone a little nuts watching all the videos I can, going over all my fabric to see what I need and what I have. I’m planning to make two quilts for my teenage granddaughters. I have the fabric for Braidwork a Cozy Quilt pattern coming from you, and for Kaffe Stars, which is for the younger preteen who still likes fun stuff in her life. So it started with Peppa for her. Can’t write more now, but will later. It’s my husband’s 80th birthday today! Love to you and your wonderful family.

Thank you Donna for that fun tutorial. I really love the pattern you chose and the green colors are so bright and cheerful,.mixed with the perfect background lighter fabric. The choices you made for the backing turned out fun with the blocks, just loved it. The give away quilt was very nice. I have never seen the tutorial you mentioned where that particular quilt was made. So, that is where I'm going next.

This quilt is one of the most interesting ones you have posted recently. I think it must be the border treatment which makes the center be prominent, but allows your eye to appreciate both areas of the quilt equally. I shall definitely add this pattern to my Christmas list. Congratulations, the quilt is amazing. Again you demonstrate how much you love the process of creating a quilt, I am constantly impressed by your level,of producing a product that is inspiring. I am trying some of your techniques to get my sewing more accurate. Those 1/4 inch seams are the trickiest no matter how many years and how many machines are involved. Thank you

Wow, I love this quilt! You explain everything so well in all of your videos. This will be a quilt to do after my current charity project. Thank you for expanding my quilting world. I would rather watch your videos than some of the online classes I have purchased in the past. I am using up some older yardage for Rail Fence Quilts for my charity project using Matt's cutting method. Also making a new pressing board with Matt's video as my guide. Love this pattern it is a repeat block, which I usually do not like, but it is so not the same each time. Strip blocks are the most versatile.
