I'm not a senior, I'm 28 but I have COPD and I love this DVD! I do this with pursed lip breathing and it's helping me to become stronger and to breathe better so that I can go get groceries with my husband and have an easier time when I'm bathing and things like that. Love it so much.
Thank you so much! I’m an overweight senior who has been very stationary during this last year. Today I found your video and it’s a wonderful “getting started” workout. I’ll be back. Thank you again
I have very bad knees but this I can do and will do 4 days a week or everyday. Thank you so very much, I am younger then the "seasoned ones" but I can do this. My health isn't the best and I am working on becoming healthier and fit.
This is good for all ages, I'm glad to find this video, thank you so much. I will from now on alternate different kind of exercises and this one is going to be one of my favorite choices. Excellent!
This is a complete blessing to me. God bless you for the work you're doing to help people who don't have a place in 'normal' fitness classes due to current strength for whatever reason - even for fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, being bedridden for any length of time, etc. Thanks to you (and the other ladies!) for putting together a great video!
It’s good to know that there are these kinds of workouts for our senior. This can help them to become healthier and it’s a good way for them to pass the time.
Pass time...lol im 63 and getting ready to buy a farm.. age is relative... tiny home with raised bed gardens... go out to collect the eggs, walk in the herb garden.. teach a class in community center. No time to just let things pass... Garden of Hope project.. ( Ive met 40 yr olds in bad shape..it doesnt have to happen to most of us..)
This is a wonderful exercise for me, I am disabled due to ra and I know excercise is very important!! I feel so proud of myself!! Thank you please keep them coming!!❤️❤️❤️
Tracy Cook I’m disabled from RA as well! After numerous hip surgeries, moving is difficult. I loved this video. It really helped me. God Bless you! Be well!
My 64 yr old mom is benefiting a lot from your videos. She plants a chair in front of the tv and follows the instructions for a good hour. Can’t express my gratitude enough! Thanks so much! Love and best wishes from India 🙏🏼
I wanted to let y'all know how grateful I am that this is on youtube. I am not a Senior, but this work out has been great for me. I am 44, morbidly obese and diabetic. I wanted to make a change from my sedentary lifestyle, and I am. I can do the workout and don't have to worry about my balance (vestibular issues). When I first started I could barely do the full video. Now I am doing this one and the 4 minute one that you have. Slowly but surely I am making positive changes! Thanks again!
I've noticed on You Tube there are so many chair exercises, videos for obese, quick 7 minute easy yoga for the elderly. It's nice to see. I have an Autoimmune Diseases and am pretty much debilitated, but trying to get moving. I know your post is six years old, but best of luck to you. If you want some extra motivation check out the 98 year old woman leading an an exercise video on You Tube using a chair and a stick. She's from Israel. Never too late!
Not certain about the points made but ,if anyone else trying to find out exercise cd for seniors try Loctavan Senior Fitness Strategy (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my colleague got cool success with it.
Thanks for this video! I have a disability (back) and this is perfect. I've been looking for a good video on aerobic exercise without back twisting and I've found it!
I am awaiting a hip replacement operation which has been delayed because of Covid 19 Meanwhile it is important to keep the muscles strong and these exercises are a great help with that
Hi. I've been doing your routine twice a day for the last two weeks and feel much better for it. I've now been in total isolation due to coronavirus for three weeks as I am regarded as being in a vulnerable category. Thank you.
I\'m not sure but ,if anyone else trying to find out exercise video for elderly try Loctavan Senior Fitness Strategy (just google it ) ? Ive heard some super things about it and my cousin got great success with it.

You are funny and calm I agree with Josie. My 45 min. chair singing workout is crazy. I do it at Senior Centers. Sometimes I think mine is too challenging when I watch yours. You have a simple but great workout for older people. I like your calm demeanor.Great work!
As a young child, I contracted polio. Thank goodness, it affected only one leg. Many years and many (supposedly) corrective surgeries later the knees are shot, a second hip replacement, and most of my balance is gone. What's a person to do? Answer? Stronger Seniors Strength! Not being able to do a lot without some kind of aid, gets a person down. I've hunted high and low for some kind of video that I can actually participate in, and not feel like a klutz. I find myself being able to do 99% of these exercises. After the initial 8 minutes was complete, I said to myself, "already?" I couldn't believe I actually did it without stopping! THANX SO MUCH, for these videos! There IS hope after all.
I am 62 and usually get do a lot of walking - I walk our dog twice a day and often do some walking at lunch time at work. However, I broke my right ankle 2 weeks ago and am really missing my usual exercise. I really like this 8 minute clip - even someone in a knee-high orthopedic boot, like me, can do most of the movements.
Cute.. I used it to take access my condition in the hospital after initialstretching. I haven't really walked in 2 weeks so the movements and pace were helpful in pushing myself without injury
@Barbarainnc Hi Barbara, Thanks for the kind words. I do hope that you will benefit from the program. Please let me know how you are doing. Stay strong, Anne
