I looked it up since one of you said it, Serie (elf queen) is voiced by Mariya Ise. The voice of Killua from hxh.. that range is crazy lmao. I can't think of anyone else more fitting to play an immortal elf god. I hope she has lightning magic lol
Flamme (Frieren's master) is voiced by Atsuko Tanaka. She's the voice of the Major from Ghost in the Shell and Caster from the Fate/Stay Night series. This season she's also Rose on The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic. Serie (Flamme's master) is voiced by Mariya Ise. She's also been in a ton of stuff.
Frieren is literally on of my favorite female MC’s like she’s such a powerful, her character is everything to me! I appreciate how these characters are written in this series!!!

Given that, it's hardly surprising he was willing to resort to fisticuffs to obtain a Stille. The man has cajones bigger than Richter's mountains.
when frieren breaks the barrier, theres one frame that you can see serie smiling in black and white. you have to put the playback speed to 0.25 and even then its hard to catch.

The thing about Serie is that, she COULD defeat the Demon King, but like they're always saying, magic is about imagination. You have to be able to IMAGINE something to do it. Serie likes the smoke, she ENJOYS some action, that's why she could have defeated the Demon King, but that still wouldn't be able to bring peace to the world (she can't imagine an era of peace). I honestly can't understand why some people are already mad at Serie and want to see her lose, like...she just have different visions than Frieren. Frieren would never be this strong without Flamme, and Flamme without Serie, so...imo she has the right to talk all the s*** she wants LMAO But in the end Serie couldn't care less about Frieren tbh Also, a lot of people here been saying Serie would wipe out the floor with Frieren, and...I agree😂 i know this ep did it's best to try to show she might be a stronger mage, but she isn't. ALTHOUGH I will admit, Frieren has the potential to.
It's main character syndrome, people just assume the main character is the strongest and everything and everyone resolves around her. Meanwhile Serie is just sitting in her throne in a situation akin to a grandma finding it mildly funny and mildly annoying that her 5yo granddaughter broke a vase 🤷🏾♀️ I'm not sure if Frieren have the potential to surpass Serie, but she definitely doesn't have the will. Unless Serie retired and never studied magic again, I can't see it happening. It's an entirely different sentiment from Fern x Frieren; I'm sure will see Fern surpass Frieren before the end of the story.

Nah, Serie was right, Frieren has no ambition at all; if other characters hadn't very carefully laid out paths for her to follow, I don't think Frieren would have accomplished much, even living so long. She'd just walk around collecting silly little spells for the lolz Also, Serie is so much older (therefore has much more mana), has so much more experience and a much bigger arsenal of spells, I'm sure she could wipe the floor with Frieren. Obviously, this magic system is such that there's always the chance a much weaker person can win against a stronger opponent, but with all of Serie's experience and love for battle, Frieren would be hard press to find favorably circumstances
I'd agree with you if we hadn't been told that mages with less mana are still able to defeat those with more, so the measure of mana isn't necessarily a deciding factor in a fight, which I guess is where the experience factor would come into play. It'd be interesting to see for sure.
@@Reanimatedyt But Serie is more experienced than anyone else. Having knowledge of almost all spells to ever exist. I doubt those spells weren't just given to her. Imagine the amount of work she had to put in to get all those. Defeating the demon king doesn't even begin to compare to what she has accomplished. Most of those spells were also collected even before humans made huge innovations in magic (since humans didn't learn magic until Flamme came into play). I think Serie could wipe the floor with Frieren by barely using any mana, all just by using the right spells at the right circumstances. The gap of power/knowledge/skill between them is probably like the difference between Frieren and Denken.
She killed the demon king with her party. Who are all her equal. Also just because she was part of the party that killed the demon king 80 years doesn't mean people can't beat her.

It's not a spoiler, but as Frieren already said she is definitely not the strongest. And it was a four-man effort to defeat the Demon King, plus all those that came before them to chip away the King's forces for Himmel's party to accomplish that goal. Let's not disregard other character's efforts there. I know ppl get excited, and this is not mean to offensive in any means, just pointing out that flaw in logic there. Frieren is strong but she is definitely not the strongest Mage, Serie is there for a reason.
Frieren definitely would not have used "basic attack magic" against the Demon King, because the "basic attack magic" is the modified Zoltrak that was reverse engineered from Qual, and it would not have existed at the time the Hero Party faced the Demon King. Indeed, from Frieren's perspective, the "basic attack magic", aka Zoltrak (modified for demon fighting) would still be brand new, cutting edge magic.
I just have to correct one of the guys. Frieren is a slayer. If she says she will kill someone, she will. But in this case, Laufen was right, she did not intend to kill denken, but she definitely will beat the shit out of him if laufen didn’t show up
They just met and formed parties together yet they still care for each other like they knew each other for long time. Not minding the age differences. Laufen caring for denken thinking frieren would hurt him, Richter saying he would kill the kids but we all know he's kindhearted and giga chad Denken throwing fist is really something else 😂 laughing my as* off, thank god i haven't read any spoiler about this episode. Frieren be like: MY NAME IS PRINCESS FRIEREN VEGETA, My Power level is higher than yours, so what about technique? Tricks are for 3rd class saiyans, and I'm the pinnacle of the mage-ian race! My Ki blasts alone will overcome your tricks, cowards!!!! Serie be like: Baby, why you be hiding your power level all the time? This was another entertaining reaction! I was surprised that Denken thought he was the best or at least better than Frieren. Not only did she assist in defeating the demon king, but she's literally thousands of years more experienced in magic & hasn't aged, so his overconfidence was odd. However, I'll give him credit for the fist fight. Since it's the first week of Black History Month & this was an unproblematic reaction, I will hold off on the case until next week, but please be aware that I have finished collecting evidence!😂

I like Denken a lot but you must realize that Frieren defeated him while analyzing the barrier at the same time. She was even fully concentrating on him.

i dont know if wirbel binding spell could work because methode has some kind of binding spell too , but didnt work on frieren because the difference in mana is too massive .. so in order for binding spell to work u had to have mana at least not far from ur opponent
Lol that's a massive cap if I've ever seen one.. Wirbel got NOTHING against Frieren. His binding spell wouldn't work because of the mana differance and because Frieren is resistant against binding spells. Remember that Methode also tried to bind her and even tried to hypnotize her but none of that worked. It's not as simple as "I have a binding spell, you're done". Even Ubel learned that binding spell, that doesn't mean she's invincible in 1 v 1 now lol. Frieren is 100% the strongest participant in this exam and even considering the whole magic association she's second only to Serie.
