Most of what was said was perfectly accurate. The only part I take issue with was the call for her to leave Britain

It red flagged institutional racism and the need to take a long hard look at unacceptable behaviour in the work place. All achieved primarily because justice for her murdered son was denied. This mother's determination to place Britain's criminal justice system in the dock, calling for it to give an account, changed how we now police and manage staff across the board. Today she still fights for equality and justice for others. She as set up organisations and networks which advise companies and our government. All this whilst also offering tangible help to those in need. So, yes, she deserves her title far more than some of the undeserving people we've titled lately...including JRM.

I've noticed that pundits like Murray espouse the importance of individuality whilst not separating ethnic origin from culture/religion. As an ex-muslim I agree that as an ideology Islam is dangerous, but not all people from muslim countries are muslim, and not all muslims are theocrats. The best a border could do is ask everyone 'do you support the imposition of a religious government?' (applies to the American Republicans as well, the Christian taliban) and do background checks. But theocrats are not averse to lying. Sweden has mandatory law classes for all immigrants, which is patronising, but I think that's the compromise: take some law classes and then it's down to the individual to act on that information. Douglas Murray isn't interested in making friends, he's already classed all muslims as enemies.

So regardless of whether they give in to authoritarianism, there will always be inequality on the right. It's the foundation of how heirarchies work. The left can have heirarchies if it gives in to authoritianism, but at it's core it doesn't need them. So radical left wing can mean anything from "everyone should be equal and we should destroy the system that prevents it" to the terrors of stalinism, but radical right wing is always radically unequal, either by uncaging capitalism and letting it run even more rampant or by giving in to authoritarianism and getting ultra nationalist, militaristic, all-powerful state, aka fascism.
